Those old Scouts are gorgeous. I did reserve the new one coming up in a few years. Hope it succeeds. This was great coverage. The best I’ve seen, thanks for doing this.

He said they wanted to have all of your mod choices ready when you purchase. So that everything is ready by the time the vehicle is delivered. And you can hit the ground running with no wait. Would be great if it happens that way.

I’ve never been interested in the scout, I had jeep friends that were though… but this looks badass! Traveler with front bench would be awesome!! I could fit two car seats and wife in back and her parents up front with me for trips to Cañon city lol!!!

Got a reservation in the first couple of minutes. The Traveler EV checked all the boxes for me. I would have liked to have seen a roof off/doors off concept, but Scout needs to relaunch the vehicles first. Lots of potential here.

Dad bought a Travel-all back in the day, only two wheel drive but never got stuck, even after we jumped a creek with it. I would much rather see a gas electric or diesel electric drive like Edison is developing in Canada. Much simpler than current hybrids with no range anxiety.

... if I was forced to go EV , I'd be my last auto purchase - I'm over 70 , I know they have to cater to the masses but I would like a 2 door with a bench seat Traveler ...
@thepixelated19 күн бұрын
They are not catering for the masses.. they're shoving EVs down their throats.. as long as we can pump gas from the ground, internal combustion engine will live + hydrogen internal combustion engines are here

You don’t walk up to the last International Scout, ever made, open the door and then say , May I ? The same goes for the yellow Scout, when you opened the glove box door. People keep personal items in glovebox’s. How rude.

If the enthusiast owners brought their vehicles to an event for other enthusiasts, it's safe to believe the enthusiast owners who brought their enthusiast cars to the event would be happy to allow other enthusiasts to touch and appreciate the enthusiast vehicles. How rude of you to make such a dumb comment.
@TJ-qz6hr16 күн бұрын
@ I don’t know where your from, but where I’m from, people don’t touch other peoples personal belongings without permission. It’s common courtesy. You try that at a car show where I’m from and your getting your fingers broke.
@realmomcartours16 күн бұрын
Both of you are correct. I feel awkward doing the same thing, but that was kind of the point. They invited Content creators to mingle and engage with these vintage scout owners. Most of them did interviews and some of them gave off Roading rides. But I’m with you, I’m also from the school. You don’t touch other people stuff so it felt uncomfortable to me. There were several times when I looked at the person and said can I…? I just edited that out for economy. Thanks for watching and commenting

The "EREV" is interesting. But for all the money it will cost you, why not just put a regular ICE engine in? It'll at least cut down the complexity 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️...IJS
@オルフェーヴルの夫19 күн бұрын
But but you can save the planet with that, please buy an expensive ev to save the environment please
@disqjunky19 күн бұрын
ice engines have more moving parts than EVs. The generator creates power for the battery and doesn't power the drivetrain.
@alleng01298518 күн бұрын
@disqjunky and I bet it would still be easier to put a lil 4cyl or 6cyl in and call it a day. I'm guessing that why they've pushed this release date out to 2027. Trying to see if that EV market will pick up
