The entire movie would’ve been better as their original draft, at least based on the deleted scenes I’ve seen thus far. I really liked the character arcs in the movie that released, but the deleted scenes touch even more on them and I would’ve loved to see that, even if the movie was something insane like three hours I still probably would’ve seen it and liked it better. (I know a released movie can’t be three hours but it’s an exaggeration)

Out of all of the cut scenes, this is the most bewildering choice to me. Including it resolves so many issues for the sisters, and it better illustrates why Elsa decides to stay, as well as how both sisters have finally found their sense of belonging after feeling out of place for so long.

Disney Corporate doesn't understand that resolving emotional plot threads is imperative to good story writing. They keep such scenes to a minimum because they think the kids are too retarded to understand or care about such things. And so they focus on all the action, big plot twists if there are any, and fantasy special effects (because real world settings are far too expensive to render, don't believe me? Look at the lack of assets in their fantasy worlds vs theil brief moments they use in their normal human worlds of their movies). The movies that defy this soul sucking standard end up being smash hits (like Encanto!). The others? More so a brief flicker before fading into relative obscurity (most of the animated films you legit forgot came out between Moana and Encanto! because they were just that memorable). Hopefully one day the execs in charge of Disney's movie studios recognize that they need real writing standards instead of butchering quality story writing to meet a corporate checklist. Hopefully Encanto! helps them recognize proper emotional story writing is important, but you can never tell with someone who's job isn't to understand human emotions but rather how to forcibly churn out branded corporate products.

I always disagree with people saying Elsa and Anna's parents are screwups. The only thing they did wrong is they seek advice from rock troll instead of trusting their own parental instinct. And Elsa being drowned in fear of herself by the troll's word is what makes everything worst. They shouldn't listen to those mold eaters in the first place. Yeah, the troll did help little Anna but it should be just that.

Yep. The Directors writers and animators were crushed by time. Disney didn’t delay the movie to fully polish it. It a week for an animator to fully animate 3 seconds. If Disney delayed the movie for 6 months or even a year, they could’ve added more and better scenes, polish the story, and make the overall movie better.

Personal assumption: Olaf might not be brought back in this version. It's was Elsa's decision to leave Arendelle in this version, which means the days two sisters stuck together was end. Olaf is a symbol of the bond between Elsa and Anna, the vanish of Olaf represent the end of a stage.

These deleted scenes make me frustrated . All of them are awesome and would of made the movie so much better than the sad movie it is. Every time I watch another I get angry how they didn't keep them because it would of added more to the charcters and made the plot not feel so janky and rushed. There is a shift from this deleted scene to the final movie. In this deleted scene, it is Elsa's own decision to stay at Ahtohallan, she told Anna on her own, and the sisters made an official farewell. In the final movie there was no farewell, instead they said "we continue to do this together."; Someone else suggest Elsa stay, and the sisters didn't actually say goodbye, even though they are indeed no longer live together. Maybe Disney didn't want to make this separation too hard, which might break many little girls' heart.

Honeymaren didn't suggest Elsa to stay. She is just said that she does have a purpose here. Also Elsa wanting to stay goes against the original. Elsa needed to attend this calling. She needed to be there for the spirits. Elsa was happy in arendelle but she only had a higher calling and that was the main and only reason. But Elsa didn't do it at first because she didn't want to leave home or her family because she loves them so much that leaving them would break her heart as well.

A lot of these deleted scenes would’ve made for a much better movie than what we got. Kristoff has an arc he goes through, the deleted prologue is downright chilling, there’s setup for Anna becoming queen of Arendelle with a song where she wishes she could do more for her kingdom, the grandfather is set up as this revered heroic figure before it’s revealed he instigated the attacks on Northuldra, the castle is destroyed (and as the art book indicates, it would’ve been rebuilt with influence from both Anna’s Northuldra and Arendelle heritage)... It just seems as though a lot of these deleted scenes were pointing towards a much better movie than what we got.

If you are going to make a film, especially of this caliber, make it good, no matter the cost, no matter the delay. A delayed film is eventually good, but a rushed film is forever bad. first off, love how this scene shows how theyd rebuild arendelle from scratch. then, elsa shows anna their parents believing in anna, not just elsa (as if anna isnt the main character). in my opinion, i feel like anna deserves so much more credit and more love, and this scene gives her more than enough of that. also elsa talking about her feelings abt the forest makes more sense than just second-hand guessing the facial expressions and lines in the actual film.

I'm glad they cut out the part where Arendelle was destroyed however they should send the part where Elsa shows Anna the vision where Anna and Elsa's parents plan to tell Anna the truth because they should have told the truth in the first place in my opinion Anna and Elsa have lousy parents because they should have told Anna the truth earlier much earlier what they should have done was one of them spend time with Elsa and helps her control her ice powers and the other spend time with Anna and tells her the truth and tells her don't go near Elsa for a while and why and next week the parents switch that's what they should have done not shut out their youngest not keeping her from the truth because that's not protecting at all that not being a parent that is being a coward because look where it led to in Frozen 1 and Frozen 2 Anna foolishly married a man she just met who turned out to be a psychopath Elsa froze the kingdom up an eternal winter and in Frozen 2 Anna got over protective of Elsa in the Enchanted Forest too much and Elsa ditch Anna for that their Parents really needed to get better at their job like why not tell their daughters that they could only play with Elsa ice magic in the day time under adult super vision and at night they should be in bed.

Would have been nice if they included this scene before Kristoff proposed to Anna at the ending. I would have been happy enough for Anna to finally get to know what happened before. Interested to see how the castle could have been destroyed though. Still the movie is good! :)

The directors, writers and animators were under a lot of stress for the release of this movie. It takes a week for an animator to fully animate 3 seconds. They were crushed by time. If Disney had delayed this movie for 6 months, or even a year, I’m certain we would’ve had a better result!

Agnarr and Iduna (Frozen) - Another set of contention Disney parents. People complain lot about their handling over Elsa's powers but one do have to acknowledges that these two were kinda in a hard place. They had a kingdom and two daughters to protect. We have to admit that nobody (but the trolls and even they have limited information) know how to teach Elsa how to use the type of magic that she have. It is not like they have a book or a tutor who can teaches them these things. They had to learn through steps and that requires mistakes along with it. What we do know about these two is that their daughters and citizens' safety were the most important thing to them. They still kept the kingdom in good shape while behind the gates for over a decade, they tries to have Elsa believes in herself and taught her about how to run a kingdom and they provided Anna with attention whenever they could. They were willingly to risk their lives to try to find more answers about Elsa's powers in order to bring the family back together and if you take a deleted scene as canon that they were always planning on telling Anna the truth when they felt that she was old enough to understand. Their daughters do acknowledges that there were mistakes made but they still understood where their parents were coming from and they are shown to be determinated to make sure that their parents are still highly honored. I personally think they did good considering the situation.

This ending would be more suitable for young adults and ups, and in the ending on the movie is more guaranteed for the youngsters below teens cuz It's more happy and joyful while this is kinda a serious touch of reality and on my opinion this ending is what I'd prefer hahaha

At the very least, I'm glad Mari Mancusi put some of the dialogue from this scene into her book (Dangerous Secrets). Edit: The only part of this scene that I kinda wish was in the film is when they showed the parents talking about Anna, the rest of this scene is honestly a little confusing and hollow compared to the final cut.

Ok I know they had to cut so many of the extra stuff because of time/continuity but this was 2 minutes long and would have been so perfect to put in, wouldn't have changed the plot at all, wouldn't have made the film too long, I see no reason they had to cut this! It's so beautiful

It's saddening that this scene didn't make it in the final film, as it would've helped flesh out the story better. It really would have helped explain why Elsa decided to stay in the Enchanted Forest rather than return to Arendelle. 😞😓
