Even the scene with their parents talking about telling anna elsa's secret would have been good!!! And the moment she accepted that for herself, Nokk allowed her to tame him? Idk, my logic could be flawed, but it was nice to think of how things could possiblt connect with Nokk. XD

This totally makes sense. As harsh as it is, Kristoff lifestyle would be hard to fit within the royal family. @@ischeele7203 It's clear that Kristoff and Anna would somehow managed to fix their relation in the end; Kristoff was still in the last deleted scene "The place of our own". Although Kristoff did not fully honest to Anna, his love to Anna is something very true. It is also predictable that Kristoff was going to have the second and final proposal to Anna in the end of this abandon version (possibly after going back to Arendelle, or, after everything was settle and the city was rebuilt) . Actually, it would highly likely be identical to the story path of Mulan II: 1.The couple engaged in the beginning. 2.They broke up in the middle. 3.They overcame the difficulties, fixed all problems and be together again in the end.

This part coordinated with the deleted scene "We're gonna get this right", both indicated the same thing: Kristoff is struggling to adapt the royal life (he has became aristocrat in the beginning of "We're gonna get this right"). Also, in another deleted scene "A place of our own", Anna said "We are going to build a new castle, no secrete, no deceive"; "No secrete" is for Elsa and "No deceive" is for Kristoff . All the related settings were abandon and not showing up in the final movie, the only thing left for Kristoff is how to propose to Anna, as well as sinning the mighty song "Lost in the woods".

But then this would open up a whole new plot hole about how kristoff and anna realize that they might be too different and arent the match that they thought they'd be. And then they might break up. This scene just proves Kristoff’s love for Anna. In “get this right,” Kristoff says he’s trying to be the opposite of who he used to be, the guy who was raised by trolls and picks ice (basically the guy the trolls describe him as in “fixer upper”). He’s trying to adapt to his life in Arendelle and keep the truth a secret to make Anna happy because he loves her. It really adds depth to his character, which I like a lot, since his character in the final cut of Frozen 2 feels heavily developed upon just proposing to Anna. But I can see how this would have made the plot for them a bit dark, though it would have made for a more realistic look into their relationship and a good lesson in the end of the film when they get through their differences and stay together.
@shaneyzamora25254 жыл бұрын
He's so sweet. There's nothing wrong with royal status and manners because of manners, but to someone who wasn't raised in it, its got to be difficult. I would've loved the idea of them breaking up towards the beginning of the movie due to Kristoff admitting that he doesnt fit in, and then eventually coming back together because of how strong their love is for each other. it would have fleshed both characters more (particularly Kristoff). I like the general concept of this scene, in that it explores the Nokk's role more than the movie ended up doing, and that it addressed a plausible problem with Disney's frequent formula of "humble commoner and heir to the throne end up together". It just went a tad too far with that second thing. If the hidden untruth had been Kristoff's insecurity about never fitting in with palace life and/or not being the noble husband she deserves, we'd have gotten a much more in-character exchange between the two.

Kristoff is a nice guy who loves Anna and will do any and everything for her. That is true and true. But that doesn't mean he has to feel good about the environment he was in, aside from being with Anna. Gosh, darn it! This is exactly what I wish would have happened in the movie! Don't get me wrong, I still loved it, but the parts I definitely had a problem with was the "Getting Married" polt. I haven't seen all the deleted scenes yet, but from what I have seen so far, it's starting to look pretty close to what I would have liked to see. So, for the heck of it, I'm going to write how I would have done the "Getting Married" plot. Start off the way it originally starts in the movie, but then have Kristoff actually succeed in proposing right away. Pretty much just use "Get This Right" from the deleted songs. That would have been fun and very sweet. Then, while they are on their adventure, they will start to notice each other flaws, maybe have a few arguments and stuff, and maybe have this scene as well, thus making them question if they should really get married. Then, Kristoff could maybe still have his "Lost In The Woods" song while Anna goes off with Elsa, and this time it could be about not knowing if it'll work out or if he'll be able to keep up with her. (I actually like that song so I want to work around keeping it in.) And since this is a Disney movie, they'll, of course, makeup and basically say that "Hey, we're different people on different paths, and we're not always going to see eye to eye, but that doesn't mean we can't make this work. We love each other, we want to be with each other, and if that's true, then we'll work hard to be together, and,...well, 'Get This Right.'" Heck, give the song a reprise just for the heck of it! It's a good message for kids and adults to learn! It's okay to second guess things even after you decide to get married. It's okay to feel that way! It's a good way to make sure you really want to do this or should do this. As long as you have a good feeling that things will work out, even if you are both on different paths, then you'll both be okay. The way it ended up in the movie felt very forced and cliched it the end. It was the thing that disappointed me the most. Again, I still loved the movie as it was, but if I had the chance to fix it for some reason, this what I would fix, and this is how I would do it. Thank you, hope you enjoy your day.

Honestly, I believe that the version you described was their original intent for the story. However, according to the documentary, a lot of their original ideas for the story didn't succeed with the children during the test screenings. So they were forced to simplify their plot a good bit, and they had only a short amount of time to do it because the Mouse didn't want to push back the release date. It's really sad. Because as much as I love Frozen 2, I would have appreciated the deeper plot lines.

This deleted scene makes me sad af lol. Kristoff is happy in Arendelle. And thinking of an au where he isn't makes me sad. And Anna not supporting him and trying to make him happy in Arendelle makes me feel even more unhappy. This scene was so out of character for all of them. Especially Anna and Olaf. Anna isn't the type of person to walk away without listening to what Kristoff wanted to say. And Olaf is innocent, he wouldn't make dark humor jokes. I feel like if Kristoff were to become Lord of Arendelle instead of the Ice Deliver he wouldn't be happy. However, just because he is marrying Anna doesn't make him a King. That makes him a King Consort. A King Consort is not in charge of the kingdom. So Kristoff would still be able to do what he loves. (Ice Delivering). And if this scene did happen. I feel like Anna would give Kristoff the chance to explain that he isn't happy with his role of Lord Of Arendelle and Anna would understand saying he doesn't need to go through with the promotion. If he is happy with his old role of Arendelle then he should continue to be happy. Ya know

"Anna isn't the type of person to walk away without listening to what Kristoff wanted to say". The actual Frozen 2 would disagree with you. She always automatically assumes the worst interpretation when he fumbles is words, and then just kinda, abandons him. Given that aspect of her it wouldn't be odd at all for her to assume "not happy in Arendelle"="not happy in this relationship" "And Olaf is innocent, he wouldn't make dark humor jokes." I've gotta disagree with you. *Because* he so innocent, he wouldn't realize just how dark the things he's saying here are.

The more deleted scene I see, the more I start to see how much the final developpement of Kristoff character is under developped. At least compare to what they planned at the begginning. I always like this character so much but honestly, he could have been out of Frozen 2 without even changing the plot :')
@empirestate87912 жыл бұрын
He was just there as a comic relief character. His attempts to propose to Anna always going hilariously wrong was just to lighten the tone, considering Elsa's plot was far more serious.

Rosie UG Yeah. Some Things Never Change. Kristoff still chose to be in Arendalle.
@akilahposh4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree. Everyone’s saying this plot with Kristoff should’ve been kept in, but in reality, this would’ve taken away from the movie’s main storyline. Frozen 2 already has so much lore going on, with the parent’s backstories, and the five spirits. From a writing perspective, having so much plot, and then adding in an entire romance arc, would’ve been too much. The audience would feel overwhelmed, and unable to keep up with everything that’s going on.
@sydneehorne35514 жыл бұрын
Yeah, lost the main theme and also -- these are great as adults, but kids wouldn't have enjoyed this. Also, legit, Anna really didn't need to feel like she was getting lied to again, tbh. I liked their relationship in the movie just fine.

This would really tie in with Frozen 3 if they were to do a 3rd movie. Since Anna's queen and she's now engaged to Kristoff, Kristoff would have to be king some point and this would be the perfect scene to tie down with it to show his insecurities of ruling Arendelle and not fitting the royal life. I know Frozen is based more on the sisters but it would be really nice to see more from Kristoff himself especially since he was really given a bad sub-plot for Frozen 2 (all he focused on was proposing to Anna basically so we didn't get to learn anything new on his character).

When Anna said “ I don’t think we should get married “ Me: AND THEY WERE ABOUT TO ADD THAT TO THE MOVIE?!?!! ( If they had added that to the movie I think that the main plot would change and basically be 3 hours if your going to include “Show yourself” and “ The next right thing “ so it’s better to leave that as a sort of Disney short or at least some sort of problem in Frozen 3.)
@noeteves50502 жыл бұрын
Dreamworks takes risks for sequels to include a dark plot. Disney doesn't.
@empirestate87912 жыл бұрын
Funny how in the actual movie, Anna and Kristof's relationship is literally played for comic relief lol. No conflicts, no breakups, etc. - literally just some banter between the two and Kristoff's hilariously bad luck when trying to find the perfect moment to propose to Anna.

When I watched Frozen 2 I thought for sure that Anna would stay in the Enchanted Forest. It made the most sense, I mean, for Pete’s sake the village had a whole herd of reindeer and Anna ended the feud by convincing the soldiers to help her break the dam to end the fog enchantment. And this deleted scene raises a good point, why would Kristof (a man who has spent his whole life loving and living in the outdoors) and Anna (who spent her entire youth trapped inside the castle) ever go back to Arendelle?? Not to mention that they both spent more time with the village than Elsa ever did, it makes almost no sense for Elsa to spend the rest of her life there instead of them.

@@c1r3ta7yearsago2 i think what the person meant was elsa would go back to arendelle because she barely spent time with the village and the people. (yes i'm aware that's not how it ended, i've seen back in december for my birthday, i'm just summarizing what the person was saying)

For the people saying this is "too dark" or "too serius" of a plot, i personally think not, i think this subplot would have been perfect, cause it would show a healty relationship! they are really nice together, but they have problems cause they are differents and their life are differents, i think this would show that in a loving and healty relationship, neither has to totally change for the other, insted they meet in the middle, adapt and change just enough to be able to share your life with people you love but not too much to lose yourself, and is disney! they would have magic and music and funny and sweet dialogue to show this! Also, if you think about it, it just follows Elsa and Anna´s plots, Elsa wants to live free and kinda of his own, even though she loves her family, she is used to be alone and kinda likes it, and Anna is an extrovert, she wants to live in the city surrunded of people who she can help and make friends with, she wants to not be alone. So they meet in the middle, just like Anna and Kristoff. Anyway, this is just my opinion

This is kinda reminds me of Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard. Kristen used to said they disagree in everything 99% of the time but they stay together and work things out together. Its about respect towards eachother and compromise. Anna and Kristoff are from totally different backgrounds so it would be hard work ahead of them to really live their lives as a couple. If they can work their differences and able to stay together, it means love truely prevail. If not, that means their love isn't enough.
