Hi "E", thank you for sharing so much with so many folks. My granddaughter is a teacher in Portland, OR., and she said if we journal makers have extra journals, to check with our local schools to see if they could use them for the students that are suffering from depression since Covid has entered our lives. Here in FL the news said there are 2000 more students signed up for summer school then last year, and they are suggesting the students journal. Thank you for letting me spread the word about the need.

I’m in Canada, but sounds like this is needed up here too from what I’ve been hearing. Is it okay if I pass this along on my Twitter Feed? I’m sure there are plenty of People out there who’ve been gifted Journals that don’t keep Diaries/Journals, but held on to them thinking they’ll pass them on somewhere & would be happy to pass them on for this reason. Thanks for sharing an incredible idea that’s going to help a lot of Kids out there. 😊

@@patriciabriggs4481 I’m blushing here. Thank you so much for your kind comments. I went through literal Hell on Earth during my School Years due to both Kids & Teachers treatment of me. Having a Journal literally saved me. I know it for a fact, as it was my only true Safe Place I could go to & let it all out w/out any Judgement or Consequences. I still suffer w/Depression & also PTSD/Panic Attacks, which I know can be directly traced back to those Days. You know...I get it. Most kids do need to go back to In Person Schooling & badly. OTOH, for every one of those Kids & their Families, there’s one out there just loathing the day they have to go back to their own form of Hell that is School to them. Those Kids & Families, while not loving the reason for it obviously, I can tell you this much. They will have been loving not being a constant Target & being able to actually learn in Peace. Gives the most unrestrained hugs, vocalizations of I love (whatever pops out), etc.... and says she is going to have 12 children. She may not 'born' all of them, but there's ones that need mommas. What I do with the shiny side is to get a corner and using your finger nail slowly try and put your nail right under the layer of the shiny side when you have enough to grab hold of voila you have cardboard which will stick both sides. It sounds difficult but it's not its really easy to do. Hope this helps heart ❤

We’re getting closer!! I bought a ticket for something for the first time in 2 years last weekend!! The news broke there’s going to be a Canadian Stars on Ice Tour in October & thankfully as I’m on their Mailing List, I was able to use their Pre Sale for us to get an On Ice Seat!! Which I do very much need due to my Vision Issues &, now w/my Left Foot & Knee being what they are, the problems I have walking...I really do need an On Ice Seat. What I need to do & what I had to pay for it, you do NOT want to know, but I’ve got it!! Of course, it all depends on what happens between now & then. Also if my Kidney Transplant Specialist gives me the okay to go down to Toronto, but...Can’t do it if I don’t have a Ticket to get in, right? 😁😁😁 Glad to hear all is well w/all of you down there. Mom & I are hanging in there. Going through a bout of...how can I say this....Sparky interactions? This happens every Summer though thanks to the Summer “Friends” she’s surrounded herself w/. She won’t listen to me, as she’s got in her head I pick everyone apart for no good reason. Not true & I do think a big part of it is that I read People far better than she does & she’s also so desperate to have Friends, she’s always getting taken advantage of by these “Friends”. Then when something happens & it always does, when she realizes it, guess who goes around picking holes in People? Not me & I’m sick of it!! Sigh...🙄 As for what I’m making...I had a brain storm a few weeks ago & I’m only just now getting around to seeing if it’ll work or not. Why does Prep Work have to take so long? 😉. Anyway...I have a bunch of Disney Mini Stickers that came w/a couple of the School Age Valentine’s Boxes of Valentines that I’ve been wanting to use as the focal point of some Hidden Paper Clip Circles I’ve punched. Well, Mom had picked up a bag of Werther’s Originals Caramels as a treat for us & I was unwrapping the Candy when 1 of those lightbulb moments hit. This is Metallic. If I crumple it up, then put 1 of those stickers on top of it....That should cover up the logo, shouldn’t it? Then I saw the back side of the wrapper & it’s Silver, so...😁 Had to put the stickers on some heavier weight paper 1st & then cut/trim them out. Did that last night, so at least now all the parts are ready to go. I did a Trial look of will it work or not &...It will!!! Oh, I also cut off the transparent sides of the wrapper off, as you would see the logo on that & since I didn’t want that... Today was a write off, as I literally was running back & forth from my Bed to the Bathroom & back to Bed, but at least it was due to Supper from last night & not something else. Our little local Restaurant is open for Take Out only & she used to have the BEST Club House Sandwich in our entire area. Notice I said used to? She’s got a new Cook...She needs to look for another new one.... She always, always, uses Homemade Bread. That one was not made w/Homemade Bread, as I do know the difference. That’s minor anywhere else, but when that’s one of the things you’re known for? Oh, but there’s more!! Both the Top & Bottom Slice were burnt!! Not deep brown where you catch it in time & it’s still edible. Nope!! These were Black!! Another thing was usually when you pick up of her Club Houses, right away the Mayo’s just flooding out. Not this time because for that to happen, Mayo needs to actually be on the Sandwich to begin w/. Plus the Chicken Breast wasn’t cut up into bite sized pieces as it should be. There’s another place in our Area & this was a couple of years ago, I’d never had their Club House before & not only will I never have it again, I will never be going back period. Do you know what they did? They put the entire Chicken Breast in the Sandwich. Only places cut were for the Sandwich & that was it. I took one bite, all that Chicken came into my mouth & that is the closest I’ve ever come to choking on Food. Never again!! So when I discovered that was the case or close to yesterday? Yeah...Oh, but there’s even more.... Then the Bacon...I don’t know what kind of Bacon was used, but I’ve never had Bacon that tasted like that before & I don’t mean in a good way either. I’m convinced that’s what caused my oh so wonderful day of joy today. 😡 Now I said to Mom last night I need to call the Owner who is also a Personal Friend of Mom’s. I don’t care for her at all, but that has more to do w/her outlook on various things. Especially anything to do w/the Virus/Pandemic. Anyway...Mom said I can’t do that. When I looked at her & asked why not? I kid you not, this is what I heard.... Don’t you know how that will look? I’m not going to tell her. Goodie for Mom!! She wants her Friend’s Business to, at the very least, be harmed by word of mouth for Bad Food being put out by this New Cook she’s training & all because of “how it looks”. Uh huh...😠 As I told her....Her Friend needs to know about this!! This is more than an oversight & it’s not like it’s a Bookstore w/a Side Cafe, where something like this isn’t going to harm the Main Business. Food IS her Main Business & if from the look of it she’s got a Bad Cook, then she needs to know!! Which I was going to do today & then...Sigh...I just do not understand my Mom. I really do not & it’s not just this either. Anyway, I think she had the day to think it over, realized I was right & in turn...A bit of a Sparky Interaction Day. Just what I needed too. I’m sorry for going off like that, but...I am right, aren’t I? I know I am, but after yesterday w/Mom & then what happened tonight when we got into it over her “Friends”...I am wondering a bit too. On that happy note...Thanks for listening & Thanks for another great video & idea!! Oh...Are you on Instagram? I’m not, nor will ever be, on Facebook, so just trying to figure out how to show you if those Hidden Paper Clips turn out. Thanks again!! Take Care & Stay Safe!! 😷😊
