When building the plates and things for your presses, you should use A572-50 hsla structural steel. Go to one of the big supply branches for steel construction and just see if you can buy some cutoffs. Also when welding for edge rebuilding just use hardfacing welding rod.

Three Phase in a Y (also know as wye) configuration. You have three hots, shared neutral, and earth ground. Also could be high leg delta, one of the phase to phases gets split to give you some 120.

I can bid on a storage unit in Ocala that has a few hid transforms and a bit of wire, just in the front corner. But you and I know it's not just fuel money there and back. Gotta win every time. P.S. I just sold a few ewaste boards today and made a few bucks lol locally. Same as boardsort price. Probably could have asked for more!
