My predictions for Scream 6: 1. Gale will have a much bigger role 2. Samara Weaving will be casted but as Gale’s assistant 3. The opening kill will involve Samara’s character and Gale but Gale ends up surviving 4. There will be more than 2 killers. Two of them are working together while another one is working on their own vendetta. The two killers are avenging Amber and Richie by killing the remaining survivors from the last film while the third killer’s motivations and identity are unknown and won’t be revealed til Scream 7 but is a character in 6 5. Sam and Tara’s mom will be a supporting character 6. Hank Loomis and Stu’s sister will be in the movie 7. Sam sacrifices herself to save Tara who will be the main lead in Scream 7 8. It will take place outside of Woodsboro 9. The social commentary could tackle more on fandom especially how most films nowadays that are divisive or they can talk about how some films are perceived as fan service 10. Sidney will survive because she’s Sidney f**king Prescott

I had this theory that Gale dies at the end on a cliffhanger scene that features Sidney. Picture this: after Gale helps the survivors deal with another ghost face duo, she is killed by another ghost face who calls Sidney. Sidney is home and the phone rings. She answers thinking it’s Gale and it’s Ghostface. Gf taunts her after having murdered Gale and tells her that he’ll be seeing her. The scene ends with Sidney frowning shedding a single tear for the reporter who would become her friend. Then a gf scare before the credits roll. We’re getting a S7.

I see Tara becoming the new "Roman." She is still mad that Sam left her and hates her even more because she was almost killed in Scream 5. Maybe she is pulling the strings. As far as Kirby coming back. I would love it. I believe Hayden had said she would have loved to come back in 5, but the directors have said they love her character so much that being in 5 would have been just a cameo and that would be a disservice. I've also read that Hayden's kid's dad is in the Ukraine fighting right now. So she may want to just focus on her family. Either way I'm glad Kirby is alive

Been waiting for this. I'm personally hoping that they keep Mindy alive in the sequel as well as Tara. Those are my two personal favorites after re-watching the movie a couple of times. Of course I want Sidney to survive which she most likely will. I love Gale but I'm honestly lost when it comes to whether or not she's going to survive. My theory on the killer is lowkey wild. I think that the killer would be revealed to be Sam, as her mental state will start to decrease drastically (in theory) after what had happened to her and her friends and she would eventually snap. I think that having a ghost face vs ghost face would be interesting. Like there’s multiple ghost faces trying to go after the main character but they’re not working together and it’s more of a race to try to kill the main character.

I love the Final Girl Support Group idea but I highly doubt they would do it. It would be iconic. All of your ideas are wonderful! I can't wait for this movie! I read an article today quoting the directors as not holding anything back this time. They said they felt they had to follow a certain formula in order to get the fans locked in and pay Craven respect. Billy's Dad did actually make an appearance in Scream 96 when they were in the police station after Sid's first attack, but either way, you are correct that literally anyone could play him.

My predictions/wants: -Make Gale have a bigger role. -The story should take place outside of Woodsboro. Perhaps it can take place in New York where Gale lives (imagine a subway chase scene). -At least a few kills that aren’t just stabbings. -References to the past films, especially Scream 2, 3, and 4. -I want Kirby to have at least a cameo. -Perhaps there could be three killers this time and only two are unmasked by the end. -The story could happen all in one day or night to create a sense of urgency. This may sound weird but, Sam is revealed to be born around 1997 so she would have been a freshmen in high school around 2011. I would love some scenes of her in high school and we get cameos from the cast of Scream 4 (Jill, Kirby, Robbie). SO! Here we go, lol. 1. I see your Gale gets murdered in the cold open by her agent in a ghost face mask, but I raise you that this causes someone who loves the franchise to be triggered enough to start a whole new sequel out of anger that someone took out their favorite final girl and actually decides to avenge Gale in some twisted way. You build on that Toxic Fandom aspect. 2. This pulls a Halloween Kills and takes place in the same few days. This would allow us to have a proper funeral for Dewey, the legacy characters would still be around and we would see Kirby return for his funeral. Gale asks Sydney to stay to help her clean out Dewey's trailer. We have a moment where Gale gives Sydney Tatum's ashes because that seems fitting. Some really warm moments. Meanwhile we see that they are all being stalked. Perhaps they have NO idea at this point that the cold open has even happened so they feel safe. You build that suspense up because WE as an audience obviously know they aren't. 3. Adding to this, you bring Mark back...you introduce Sydney's kids because obviously he would come to support his wife for the loss of her friend. NOW it gets a little more heavy. Maybe Sydney gets a phone call that evening. She and Mark are staying maybe at the Meeks house or they've rented an Air BNB and they are having a glass of wine together because its been a rough few days with funerals...cleaning up Dewey's things. They are leaving in the morning, but then Sydney gets a phone call and it goes the way of When A Stranger Calls..."Have you checked the children?" I don't think they would EVER go as heavy as to kill the kids, but for sure we would see a different side of Sydney and Mark's training will come back into play. Ex cop. He wants to catch this person because now his whole family is at risk. 4. Sam and Tara's mom is going to come into play here somehow. She is the woman Billy cheated with and had a child with. There is NO way they aren't going to introduce her in the next one. It could make sense that she would want to attack Sydney's children. If Sydney has the life she wanted. If she blames Sydney for her children being attacked. It has been said that she loves horror so I could see them going that route. Maybe she is even a false killer, meaning, she makes the call to Sydney to scare her away from Woodsboro, but now because she's involved herself in the plot and possibly sending things awry, she gets murdered by the actual killer. 5. I 100% agree with Samara Weaving being in this, but I think she would HAVE to be the cold open or it will be too predictable that she could be the killer. Its Samara Weaving. She would be the Jack Quaid of Scream 6. I would actually LOVE to see her tied in with Kirby. Maybe they are siblings. That is passable and possible and if you don't go with the funeral of Dewey, then the death of her sister would certainly bring Kirby back to Woodsboro. Even if you do start with Dewey's funeral, it would make Kirby want to stay and see who killed her sister and beg Gale and Sydney to help her. 6. Commentary, I can see them going with tropes and I can see them doing as you said and going with sub genres. Maybe we even see a found footage type thing. Maybe the killer is filming while they are murdering people and they send the videos to the police so we see the deaths at some point, in someway, from the killers POV. 7. I want to see Sam break a bit more. She REALLY leaned into her father in this one and I think that could go a long way. Perhaps she's a killer that doesn't know she's a killer, giving into that Malignant type trope. 8. I really loved the closure they gave us on Sydney and Gale so I almost hate to see either of them come back. If they do, I want to see them honor that closure. Don't take it from them. Have them be support, but also have them be strong enough to tell our main characters no. They've already lost too much and they can't keep risking their families and their lives to be in the sequels. Have them speak on the horror genre's inability to let a franchise go so they are removing themselves. 9. I want to see a different type ending. If this is to be a trilogy...let the killer get away. We always get that third act with the killer reveal and the big fight scene. Its almost predictable. You know how at the end of Valentine, you think its one person, there is the big fight and you find out at the very end that an innocent person was killed and accused and the killer is still alive. 10. Do that and start your third and final movie with us going into the movie knowing more than we usually know. The end of this third one, that twist you HAVE to have at the end of Scream, then becomes that it is Stu being alive and that he has somehow been involved in these last three from some compound somewhere. Maybe he started the website where Amber and Richie met and that website grew into something more. The first Scream events, the first Stab movie, has cultivated SUCH a following that he literally has a cult in this compound and he is deploying people out to Woodsboro to keep the legacy going. You name these two movies Scream Again and Scream Legacy (or Scream Forever). Stu is NEVER caught so you leave knowing this COULD happen again. A perfect movie for me would be if prediction 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 were true, lol. Okay, I'm done now. HAH!

I know this sounds messed up but I want nothing more than for Gale to die. She has nothing left to offer the franchise except to bow out -bloody- gracefully. I think the natural progression for the franchise is to pay homage to Wes. Include a bunch of callbacks and similar kills from *all* of his famous horror movies. From A Nightmare On Elm Street to Wishmaster and everything in between. They could also focus on how franchises always set up movies to be the last (Freddy's Dead, Final Chapter, etc.) but never follow through because of greed. Could make a good setup for Gale's publicist or producers from Stab. And the cherry on top...the title will be... *Never Scream Again*

Is it just me or did Scream 5 get cutesy in letting a lot of the characters live??? i know that sounds awful lol but why did we need Chad to survive? Obviously, Mindy was amazing and her prescence in sequel would be welcomed but Chad???? He was expendable. Sorry. Also, I predict Chad dies in this one as well as Tara OR Sam.

Yeah I think they should’ve maybe added one more new character to the young cast to be killed off in the finale. The body count was actually really low.

My brain is gonna explode hearing all of this . So much theories , I don’t think Kirby will return . Having all female ghostface would be amazing and OMG I so need Jill coming back and she could k!ill Gale since Is Gale the one that did her dirty . Another great way to k!I’ll Gale would be with her having a depressi0n episode at her home missing Dewey , like she’s at her lowest so she’s weak. Then she receives the call and ghostface says : missing him ? And they could have a whole chase scene in the house like the OG and then Gale d!íes looking at Dewey’s picture . This is going to sound bleak but I’d like to see ghostface get away with it in scream 6. This is something we’ve never seen and would be an easy set up for 7. I don’t mean ghostface kills everyone but perhaps they get the wrong person at the end of 6 or something and instead of an opening kill we have a closing kill to show the audience that they got the wrong person and the real ghostface is still out there.

This sounds like a orange is the new black Scream movie. I know you love Final girls but you got to cast some guys in there besides Patrick Demsey. Gale makes perfect sense as the opening kill Why else would she be the first one to sign on and so quickly if not to be killed off immediately and not have to deal with difficult contract negotiations?

i think the theme is going to be franchises and the social commentary will be about capitalism and the lack of compassion towards others and how desensitised people have become. especially if this is set during college it would be perfect but even not it's still in the middle of a pandemic and a recession
