@@qwertyboguss OP's wording is weird but basically the US military has a massive media division that works with Hollywood production companies to help films who want to feature tech/equipment the military has so long as the military gets script approval. They allow some minor criticisms or parody of the armed forces but are known to turn down films that are overly critical or that the media arm says won't substantially boost enrollment/the brand image of the military.

Easy way to fix a lot of the cluttered plot issues: keep Megatron dead for awhile. At least up through Dark of the Moon. Megatron wasn't needed when it could've just been Sentinel and Shockwave

I need to buy at least one new pair every year because of them breaking or getting lost, and the most dangerous thing I do is bicycle to work, not polar exploration. I had two new pairs of prescription sunglasses last year because I fell asleep with then on, ended up laying on them, and they broke beyond the powers of Specsavers to repair. The Witwicky glasses lasting 100 years is the least believable part of this movie about an intergalatic alien robot car war.

Because the latter hasn't even existed for a million years yet, and I'm no material scientist but I'm not sure that the kinds of glass that are naturally occurring are actually in conditions that let them last millions of years. Only kinds I can think of are Libyan desert glasses which were formed by literal meteorite impacts, which are way more force intensive than the processes used in making modern eyeware

Transformers - Rise of the Fallen is like one of my favorite movies of all time. In college whenever I was hangover (which was pretty much a couple times a week) I always watched it. It's such a braindead movie and imo it is the GOAT of all "movies to watch when hangover". You can watch it without using a single brain cell. it's a masterpiece.

Well there were two things off, which I can't believe I'm defending a transformers movie. 1 the decepticon kept chasing the underwear model soilder boys because the one took it's photo and it sinced it. The decepticon wanted no witnesses. The glasses did lead to the artic and the Autobots were driving there, but turn around when they see Bumblebee going in the opposite direction. Optimus was going north, bee was going south.
