When the water warms up the algae starts to bloom, and that’s why it’s so green. At deeper depths the algae can’t grow so it stays clear. But it’s much colder!

​​@@NateLawsonThat I know, just, it is the temperature that sets off the bloom, and I never knew the temperature can reach that high for algea this early. The inland waterways and lakes in NL and Germany rarely reach temperatures above 25⁰C. Oh and when they do, swimming water will be closed of and bathing is prohibited because of blue algea
