Mike thanks for the explanation, I tend to forget some details. Good to see you making the video after the unpleasantness elsewhere.

I really struggled to get this working. Kept hanging. After much buggering about I realized I had changed the column order of the memory list to make it easier to see the descriptions. Looks like the scanner requires the list order to be default to work. Perhaps add a comment to this video?

We have confirmed this behaviour and it will be fixed in the next release of SDRuno Thank you for your feedback.

I scanned and created a bank for FM broadcast frequencies. I didn't notice that the filter was set to 60k, and all the bank entries had that as the filter. I realized later than I wanted to have the filter set to 192k for all the stations.. The filter field cannot be edited in the memory panel. I figured out that the bank files can be opened in a text editor and modified without any problem since it's a CSV file.. Just an FYI in case you want to be able to modify those fields without having to STORE the entry with the proper settings and delete the previous entries.

Question: How to directly jump into saved frequency from memory panel ?

Make sure the MCTR button is enabled (illuminated) and click the frequency that you want to tune.

At 2:04 in this video you move your cursor over the digits in the control panel and proceeded to change individual digits, how? I've tried everything all i get is tuning steps pop up. Sorry to be a pain but I'm old school radio guy trying to work it out, I've had this RSPdx for quite sometime and found it imposable to use after playing with it for weeks day in day out sometime spending up 15 hours at a time on it, back in its box for months really dint like it and was going to send it back or sell it, now months later giving it another try, seems simple and straightforward now for some reason. Bits and bobs I'm unsure about that's why I keep asking what may seem like daft questions. The one thing I really really need is keyboard hot keys this would help tremendously, like in the HDSDR software is there any like this in SDRuno? Thanks for all your work and replies . DM(UK)

I use the mouse wheel (up or down) over the digit in the RX CONTOL panel. All shortcuts are listed in the SDRuno manual www.sdrplay.com/docs/SDRplay_SDRuno_User_Manual.pdf

Hey Mike, Robbie here, grt videos!!! Ty so much for sharing. I have been binge watching SDR stuff now for almost a weak. I was wondering if you could do a video on P25 decoding of trunked systems and show how that would work with SDR Uno. Ty in advance, 73'rds bud!

Sure I look into doing that. Let me see if I can source an IQ file. My town here in Florida has trunked transmissions, but it is all encrypted.

Mike, I can't thank you enough for all of your help. You're bringing me up to speed fast. Question: Is there, or will there be a way to include CTCSS tones in Scanner banks? I intend to use SDRuno as my live feed to RR going forward. Thank you.
@SDRplayHamGuides3 жыл бұрын
You can look into using the free 3rd party app called KG-Tone. SDRuno does not store tones. www2.plala.or.jp/hikokibiyori/soft/kgtone/index.html
