All modern SSDs that support OPAL / TCG (like the Firecuda 540) have a PSID printed on top of the physical drive, which shouldn't be public.

Yes it will work with the PS5👍 It's a Gen 5 SSD but is Gen 4 backwards compatible. You won't get the max performance speeds as the PS5 has a Gen 4 SSD slot but it will still work great 😊

This is false advertising though it should be doing what it says on the box I don't know why we allow this with tech the write speed is way off a Gen behind wtf!
