Beautiful plane. I am thinking of buying this p47. I've been flying model aeroplanes since 1986, mainly all with glow engines as I love fourstrokes. But if I did buy this Thunderbolt I may put an electric motor in it. Just my choice for this plane. Is it stable in flight? Does it stall easily at slow speeds? Thank you.

fourstrokes're always right for warbird!! ^^ A speed that is too slow is unavoidable to stall. The heavier the weight, the more so. thanks~

Simple structure seems to be good. I used this product. hobbyking.com/en_us/servoless-retract-with-metal-trunion-44mm-x-41mm-mount-2pcs.html FMS 1700mm P-51D Retract's also good for it and the Mounting plate width: 44mm Mounting plate length: 37.5mm ** No matter what type of reflector you are using, you have to fill it up with something between the wood mount and the retract mount to raise the height so that there is no problem with the retract operation. It is important.
