Is it using scoops (drag based) or loweing a tab plane (lift based)? I would think the former approach would hurt fuel economy more.

Yes definitely the new model drag based tabs are never going on my boat, extended plane trim tabs are the best.

At what minimum speed do they become effective?

How's does the transducer perform being that Close to the seakeeper also Bern trying to get a quote for weeks about to give up
@GoldCoastBoatingCentre10 ай бұрын
I didn't notice any interference from the Seakeepers at all while underway. We currently don't install Seakeepers if you're trying to get a quote from us. We only just get them provided with our Extreme Boats installed from their factory.

How is the spray from the tabs?
@GoldCoastBoatingCentre10 ай бұрын
Honestly not that much. You can see at 3:44 when I put the camera down there it doesn't make a huge mess. The boat also had some large boarding platforms to potentially block any big spray, but didn't really make much of a spray at all.

how does it work on bass boats at like 75 mph
@GoldCoastBoatingCentre7 ай бұрын
Sorry I wouldn't know. I'd recommend you see if the boat manufacturer has any info.

do they work similar to ZipWAke tabs ? when i saw a roller inside seakeeper tab i first thought it was operating on the magnus effect principal as on the quantum stabilisers.
@GoldCoastBoatingCentre10 ай бұрын
They are two very different 'Trim Tabs' by design. I noticed the Seakeeper works much faster than the ZipWakes and having it control roll and pitch control all in real time is just incredible.

garbage, trim tabs are the only way to go, these things create enough drag to steer the boat like a paddle on one side of a canoe, no thanks.
