Thanks, my father was stationed in the 50 and 60's at a Radar Site in Labrador. I still remember the stories he told about catching fish until his arms were so tired he couldn't fish anymore. Riding in skifs they paid the newfoundlanders to haul them around too fishing spots. Thanks, Peace and blessings to you and your family.

You guys might just be borderline crazy. Looks like the eider ducks stay year around. I would like to try all of the different types of food. Thanks for taking the time to make the video.

They are not boarderlinecrazy they ARE crazy. They also die out there all the time. There are very very few families out there who have not lost a realitive to the ice/water

I got to say that your enthusiasm is contagious. Nice shooting & nice seals. Quite a raft of ducks. I would sure love to have ten or so of those.

I can't believe that's how you store your boats for the winter, even the motor is still on the hull LOL Great hunt footage. Lots of meat now.
@bradwalsh91222 жыл бұрын
Do you dry the seal outside? I like dried seal dipped in seal oil or pan fried fresh seal meat.

What brand of boat do you have? That’s got to be the best boat I’ve ever seen and I want one!

I thought I had a nice fiberglass skiff,but that ice would have tore mine into little pieces,seriously

Don’t do as much as we did years ago but usually does a little in the spring and a bit in the fall. Our crab season is soon starting now so going to be busy for awhile. We are limited to 5 in the spring and closes on the 15th I think.

I wish I was there with you buddy. Take care stay safe keep the videos coming all the best.

Very thick fibreglass. Most likely built on the island of Newfoundland.

Impressive duck footage. Wonder if the boat goes faster when being towed by the snow mobiles than when in the water. I don't visit the book of Faces. Thought that kill shots would not be welcome there. Thanks for the video.

Was a great day thanks, lots of ice but where we were to mostly thin ice, the bears would have a hard time in that they are mostly out on the heavier ice floes.

Not a single youngster in the boat. Such a sad state of affairs in our province. Another generation and the hunt will be lost entirely. I was on one hunt as a youngster 30 years ago. How I wish I could go out on the ice again with my dad, and bring along my son.
