Marine animals are merely treated as a free-for-all commodity. Horrible and painful entanglements are the unsurprising consequence of the global plastic rubbish and ocean pollution crisis. If you allow the gigantic fishing industry to leave its trash behind in the sea without repercussions, you cannot complain if the ocean is full of ghost fishing gear. You cannot be surprised if endangered species are going extinct. If you support the current state of global fishing, you are part of the problem. 🦭

Poor Mama seal. With that entanglement so high up on her neck it must have been excruciating to even look at her pup while it nursed. Her own food catching must have been equally painful Now she can turn her head without that awful pain. Thanks guys-well done!
