Even Hannity had to bow to Koppel. He couldn't bully him, talk over him or deflect while Koppel sat calmly and Jedi mind tricked the hell out of him. Koppel is on the Mt Rushmore of Reporters and have dealt people that makes Hannity look like a child.

He didn't bully him, he did worse. He revealed what a joke he actually is to the American people. He should have stayed home and kept his piehole shut if he was smart but true to liberal form, he had to virtue signal as if people know who he is or care what he has to say as if it contributes to the conversation. Ted represents everything that is wrong with the media, biased liberally to a fault, bought and paid for, still supporting Obama and Hillary like most fossils. The best thing Ted could do is crawl back into the hole CBS dug him out of and stick to backgammon at the retirement home....

TheoKabala89 You are ignorant! To start he edited out 95% of the interview because it failed to meet his agenda. Second he gives his opinion about how conservatives shouldn't be able to give theirs. Third liberalism is a mental disorder that ignores truth and projects everyone else as doing exactly what they do. And last this is by very definition fake news. When you have to cut a 55 min. interview into 2 mins to make your view seem legitimate that proves your point to be nil and void of any real truth or substance. You people are cult members, sheep unable to debate your point without using labels like racist and sexist as a shield to silence all other views.

It makes sense why I thought he was retired, he doesn't have any insight to add to the conversation so nobody cares he's still out there, pretty sad. When I saw Ted I was hoping they'd also show us some more old fossils, perhaps King Tut's face mask and his treasures for the afterlife, would have brought back old memories from childhood. Justin Walsh He's a college drop out according to Wikipedia. If I remember correctly He was going to school out in San Diego and then got a job in a conservative radio station. He quickly got a following and then build his "brand" from there. He's not shy about it! He actually admitted this in this very interview. You can see in a very subtle way how Koppell has contempt for what Hannity, Fox News and other 24 hours cable news network do for ratings rather than give objective coverage informing the public! This piece in its entirety gives a fair account about the raise of partisan journalism. After Reagan deregulated media by vetoing the fairness act, we have seen in the past 30 years an increase partisan politics. It will never go back if govt restated anything that resembles the fairness act. They'll be a outcry by Libertarian and free market ideologues! It's only gonna get more divided as it stands!

The Community Reinvestment Act was the primary culprit in busting the mortgage market and the broader economy in the U.S. It is true that Bush also pushed home ownership for the unqualified, but Carter implemented the policy back in 1977 and Clinton tripled down on it by threatening lenders who didn't hand out mortgages like candy to favored minorities. Their shenanigans led where social engineering always inevitably leads. At least Bush attempted to tighten control of Fannie and Freddie, but his way was blocked by the execrable Barney Frank, who was in a relationship with an executive at the very agency that he was charged with helping oversee. (A flagrant conflict of interest the CultMarx media would have gleefully used to destroy any conservative.) Franklin Raines, Chris Dodd and Jamie Gorelick among others were all benefiting handsomely from the arrangement as it was. Ironic that Dodd and Frank have their names on the "financial reform" when both those cruddy miscreants should have been sharing a cell.

Boo-hoo. Every time hannity tells the sad story of how young he was when he started working, it gets younger and younger. Just like a republican: just another liar.

What a man Koppel is. His time was one when journalism was trusted because it WASN'T ideologically based. Feels like it was 100 years ago things are so bad now. Hypocritical that Trump points fingers at the media and calls them false, but unfortunately he may be right. Yet, who's really to blame? He himself helped create the monstrosity most networks have become.
