Haaaa! I'm here to read the comments but am too early! Great job picking! I love you! :) I get to "pick" in my basement because a lovely, elderly lady collected herself out of her home and had items piled to the ceiling. A pile shifted and blocked her front door, she couldn't get in! She camped in her front yard and we found out & helped. She moved to California with her daughter and I brought 7 jeep loads back home, sold on eBay, donated back to her estate, became #1, top power-seller, got burned out on listing and quit. You INSPIRED me to start again! I have Murano glass, Heisey, tons of jewelry, A TON of tea cups & saucers (yikes!) and sooo much stuff to sell! I have the "itch" to go out & pick but your videos are so helpful. I need to focus on listing! TY!!!

I loved antiques, knew a bit , but stopped after got married and kids. The kids are grown, I’m divorcing my abusive narcissist husband and moving to be with my family. I’m not in love with brass either. As a teenager, I worked part time in a shop that specialised in handmade brass pieces. I think I just got “over it” at a very young age. So,now I avoid it......I don’t judge others who like it, just not for me.

It’s not only volume but also variaty. People come back to your shop if you have that. I resell also, on a small scale, and people like to have things to choose from. That is what brings them back, the anticipation that you always have something new and different in stock.

I am not sure exactly how you can walk around that entire store without buying hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. I guess I would become a hoarder you have a lot of willpower and I admire that. So many beautiful trinkets and things, shelf sitters, that I would want but I respect and understand why you don’t buy everything. I love your business plan! I wish other resellers would follow suit. It sucks watching someone buy something for 20 bucks and then list it for say 50 . I know they need to make money also, but it makes absolutely no sense to me having it just sit there when if they would have started it at what they paid or 10 more and use the auction format, they may actually end up selling it for more because 2 or 3 people want it.

And brass figurines fit well & you might want to study up, I’ve noticed that eBay stores of thrifters who buy all sorts of things just aren’t attractive and worth the time to look at. Ok Joce / I went to the thrift store and whoa! They raised their prices and they use to have a holiday sale where everything is 50% off(yeah it's pretty nice) but they got rid of those and have 30% off on special days for first responders, teachers and seniors. So I went to Goodwill have their prices were a bit high but I'm like most folks and I want a BARGAIN! Maybe I'll find the antique mall like you / thanks for the vid~

Can being lithographs and that adds to the value. Convex glass is still expensive today. A lot of times, pieces like these were reversed painted and that too can add to the value.

I want a list of the places that Jaclyn goes to for antiquing please. I live in Maryland and I would love to travel up to Pennsylvania to the antique shops and malls up there. Maryland is a small state with some small towns with some antique shops in them of course. Pennsylvania on the other hand is a bigger state with a lot of small towns in rural areas that have a lot of antique stores and malls to explore it seems to me.
