The ketchup Max is eating in the video is a cheap product made up of food colour, pumpkin and sugar. I doubt it even has any tomato to begin with. The local eateries use this version of tomato sauce because it is cheap.

I worked for one of cafes here in nepal you have no idea how unhygienic our people are. A rat got in a container with flour. And the chef simply removed the rat and kept using the flour to make your momos.

Max, my brother! Me and my friends hardly order burger from burger house lol! They're mostly famous for stick foods and other fast food as they are fast and cheap and are everywhere. The sauce is funny because they usually are a mixture of multiple vegetables, and when I say vegetables, I mean other vegetables including tomato. I think they have pumpkin predominantly lol! another reason why we don't prefer ketchup around here :D Thoroughly enjoy your vlog mate! Keep exploring! :D

@5:15 the ketchup is spoiled when it has a sour/"fermented" taste to it. A restaurant is supposed to regularly rotate it's ketchup because the sugar and tomatoes in it ferments in the heat.

The level of kindness and respect you get from Nepalis is next level. No wonder every country wants a gurkha regiment in their army, these people are trust worthy, brave and humble, frankly i love Nepalis, even here in my country there are Nepali community they are so humble, simple and most of all trust worthy. You find us friendly ? Seriously? Bec you watched a few vlogs and know about the gurkhas ? Have you seen anyone open doors for you in nepal ? Anyone let you cross the road? Anyone dispose rubbish properly ? Any one queue up ? We lack most basic of basic courtesy. You only get a star treatment if you are a tourist. Anyone can be polite for a few min. the ketchups in nepal from what i gather is usually a mix of tomatoes and pumpkin (more pumpkin than tomatoes since pumpkins are cheaper) if we were talking about bottom shelf locally produced ketchups like the the ones that are supplied to restaurants.

Huuuh. The Burger House and Fried Chicken is generally not good and not bad but if you liked it then that's great. Although like most say, that's probably on the lower side of the spectrum regarding burgers in Nepal. I recommend burgers from "The Yummy Burger" in Jawalakhel and "Burger Shack" also in Jawalakhel.

Two things I must bring to Asia with me are Heinz ketchup and Shriracha. They need to cater to local tastes. The pizza tastes different for me because the tomato sauce isn't what I am used to in America. The hot sauce at the Pho restaurants are nothing like Sriracha.

Those ketchup are made from pumpkin and potato not tomato so. Its cheaper to make usually maggi is what we prefer as Heinskein is not available
