Thanks for sharing this video, it was extra helpful because you included how you discovered all of the little surprises as you took things apart-- exactly the kind of situations I often run into. This enabled me to to order parts before I actually took things apart. Nice job! One question, how did you find out the 7 ft/lb torque spec on the head bolts?

Thank you. I think I went to Google and searched, "Sears parts replacement and the model of the compressor." This gave me a parts breakdown and then I ordered the parts elsewhere on Amazon or eBay depending on what I'm repairing. If that does not show up, you can just Google the model and torque specifications. Let me know how you make out.

Are you referring to a plastic fan wheel that may attach to the compressor to help cool it?

In the description is the Sears parts website which I just used just to get the part numbers. I then went on eBay and entered those part numbers. www.searspartsdirect.com/ Card numbers I used are in the description as well, but you should double-check against your model if Provisions were made.

@@abelcortes2754 I had bought 2 for $8.59 on eBay, free shipping no tax. It was cheaper that way. The filter assembly was more expensive at $11.48.

Torx 15 I thought. However, I will give it a look later to confirm when it's not pouring rain outside.

Mario Monti thanks I am going to replace the same thing one of these days but I see it's going to be hard to remove the cover

T15 it is. I should mention it is not a security/tamper version, I was led to believe that originally and bought a set just for this. Also, it is possible that yours may be different. Finally, you can't use a socket T15, it has to be a thin one piece to fit in the hole. Good luck!

Hey bro, can you tell me what other parts goes with it. I bought the filter part the CAC-1371, 72 and 73. I get that the foam goes into the muffler but where do I install the CAC-1373. It another plastic ring

when I removed the head, the old o-ring stretched and wouldn't stay in place. I didn't have a new o-ring and didn't know I would need it. I just put that on there to try to keep it in place. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that in the video.

No symptoms, someone broke the air intake pipe off. The only way to replace it, was to take the head off.

@Mario Monti yeah true that seen u change Reed so I thought u had low built up compression pressure in tank cause my Reed is missing a tip and compression builds to 50 but no more

@@eddylorenzo5033 Yes, there are rebuilds kits out there but you have to be careful on the quality. I hear that some of the gaskets are improper or missing.

@@eddylorenzo5033 One other mention, is the drain plug on the bottom. Release all pressure from the tank. Completely remove bottom drain plug. Water may come out. I replaced my valve, since it may have been leaking. It's only a few dollars.
