I think they need to remove the PvP debuff completely, and balance the items and spells to balance it.

This is a big improvement from the 50%. Hopefully this time they will make the damage reduction apply to pets as well.

I like the damage reduction they just have to nerv enhance schamand and we are getting close to balanced pvp .

They will do everything except add resilience lol, imo I love the burst meta since SOD players don’t know how to CC a healer anyway.

@Kaghoegaming I doubt you'd get emails. But content creators speaking about them funneling players into mega servers brings light to it. CHAOS Bolt was told to move to CS US, out cry happen and then opened up LL... but now they are closing LL. It's super shitty. But then again it isn't your style of content. I'm just annoyed and reaching out for exposure I guess.

Personally, I really dislike the Reductions when comes to the STV Event it just disincentivizes you to join the event when you by default are prone to get less coins. I'm a mage and in my experience you just don't get a pyroblast off except if a lot of people don't pay attention. A few videos are showing how kill time for casters after the last debuff was around 11sec while rogue/warriors had around 4-6sec. or even less. So I really don't get the heavier reduction when it comes to magic damage.

I think these changes are far worse than the flat 50% damage reduction. I really enjoyed last week's changes and from the perspective of a healer, these changes don't help at all. People will still receive unhealable damage.

As a ret I feel like this is the right amount of damage to give and receive. However shamans are still broken

I don’t think the blizzard developers have any clue at all what a hell it was as a healer in sod in PvP. The burst damage increase in sod over normal vanilla makes PvP a one shot bonanza, which just leads to long corpse runs and Rez timers for the players who often aren’t doing anything wrong to earn those 2 insults on top of their injuries. Developers need to actually play full healer specs and try to heal through PvP damage in SoD as it now is, and apply that experience to SoD healing PvP adjustments. Pretty sure if they experience it for themselves and apply changes accordingly they won’t involve any healing nerfs at all in pvp, because that’s ridiculous. This damage reduction aura in PvP should be more along the lines of 25% damage reduction to both physical and spell damage equally, and keep healing in full effect: healers shouldn’t have to suffer healing thru mortal strike effects PLUS up to 60% more reduced healing, given that burst damage was buffed way more out of control than healing power was.

@@tullfarley4962 during the 50% weekend we actually had classic style gameplay break out. I had time to cleanse. I was begging in chat for decurse from tongues. Hunters using viper sting and people complaining about it. In vanilla you weren't supposed to be able to pve down a healer with 1 DPS. You had to bring MS and CC to battlegrounds to kill healers. Everybody complained about the actual classic style gameplay and they gave us this garbage instead.
