When you consider the way he dances and animates himself on stage for 2 and a half hours and their concert schedule, this man is an absolute athlete. Regards.

One thing I learned about Vessel: if it sounds like he's crying or about to cry, it's because he actually is. He is not afraid to cry openly on stage. Maybe it's a benefit of being anonymous, but he's just letting himself feel that and he knows it influences how his voice sounds. There is nothing that seems forced or fake about these emotions.

27:20 the lighter scream in the beginning is Vessel's scream. When it gets thicker, it's when IV(the guitarist) adds his layer scream. He is a very talented screamer and sometimes uses it to support Vessel

When you think vessel is crying he most likely is - this has been explored in a pre-recorded intermission between him and Sleep iirc. It is all authentic he is just an incredibly emotional and in touch singer

In my opinion Vessel is very authentic and I appreciate that so much. When he feels like crying then he just does that even when it's on stage and even when he starts to choke on his own tears. When he feels like jumping / dancing around then he does that as well. I don't feel like he tries to hide his emotions and believe him when he cries or whatever. And yes we all can be a vessel, if our ego is not in the way, then yes something “higher” can speak through us. Your words in the beginning remind me of spiritual teachings so...I need to check out more videos now 😊

The feeling you described that you get when you listen to them is spot on. I have not felt that from any other musicians, although I love music and always have. Sleep Token is special. They pull something out of me that I didn’t realize was there. It’s a feeling I have a hard time expressing. You should really listen to them in order, but if not some of my favorites are Ascensionism, Rain, Alkaline, Atlantic, Sugar…..and you definitely need to listen to their cover of Hallelujah. I can’t wait for you to hear the studio version ❤

At the end of the song (where the screaming is), you can hear IV (the guitarist) with Vessel screaming. Btw, they are always so silly on stage (in a good way), like Vessel jumping with a microphone stand on the stage, or wearing cowboy hats brought by fans lol And "Ascensionism" next please. There's a great recording from this year's Red Rocks concert. Vessel performs the last verse differently than in the studio version, it sounds really painful live (

Yes, his guitarist IV is the screamy boy that throws in with the heavy thick screams :) live - IV isn’t in any studio versions :) Vessel screams in the studio versions. A good studio example is GODS :) of Vessel doing some screams and VORE.

Fantastic analysis once again! I, for one, am very happy you are reacting to the live shows instead of the studio versions because not many people do that as there is not any professional recording out there! Don't get me wrong, the studio versions are exquisite, but I feel like the vocals are a bit overprocessed in their latest album, and the live versions of the songs express a lot more emotion. That being said, the studio version of Take me back to Eden is truly fantastic! The soundscape and the little details in the production are absolutely not done justice while listening to a live version filmed with a phone so I am looking forward to you listening to the studio version.

So much talent and beauty indeed ! ❤ Vessel does the lighter screams and then I believe its iii (bass guitar) or IV (guitar/ backing vocals). But I’m pretty sure its IV though who does the louder and deeper screams so Vessel doesn’t mess up his voice.

If you want to react to more live versions I recommend Hypnosis and Alkaline to you. The energy Vessel has during those is addictive. I love the way you listen to the whole thing first and then break it down after it. I appreciate that you let yourself feel the music and especially that you choose live versions! Sleep Token is something you have to experience live because it’s such a vibe and I feel like people often miss out on this by reacting to the album versions. I‘m glad that you decided to go on this journey and I‘m excited for what you‘ll react to next :)

If you're going down the sleep token rabbit hole, I suggest you start from sundowning and work your way to take me back to eden. They have tons of references to other songs, especially the last song from this album, Euclid. The song take me back to eden, during the outro, you can hear faintly in the background the first lyrics from the first track of the album, Chokehold. Considering take me back to eden is the second to last song on the album, this to me suggested that this song is the end of the current album, whilst Euclid is the conclusion of the trilogy. Great videos man, keep it up!

The way he carries some of those notes make me want to melt into a puddle (not the only song, but a really good example) 🫠

Will you be reacting to all/most Sleep Token songs? That would be great since a lot of people react to the newest album and then the old stuff gets ignored and that’s a damn shame! I also really like that you react to the live versions because honestly, this is one of few bands that sounds as incredible love as they do in the studio version so I love hearing the technical things about the live performances! Also please DO analyse the lyrics! That would be so fun! I’ve not seen a lot of people do that

19:03 check out Sleep Token Luke! He has done a bunch of deep dives on the lore, and on the albums and the journey they take you on. You may not know this quite yet, but each album is related and makes a cohesive story as you listen to each from start to finish. It's a story of love, loss, anger, happiness, redemption.. And Luke does a great job in a video he did a few months ago called "Trilogy of Trauma" which was a 24 minute mini-deep-dive that kind of goes into the ST lore a tiny bit as well. FutureDrive did a more in-depth analysis called The Sleep Token Trilogy - Exploring the Concept" that goes through highlights of literally every song from Sundowning all the way through TMBTE, if you have an hour and a half to kill! But you're also free to do your own interpretation if you'd like! Just figured I'd recommend a couple to hear what other huge ST fans have thought about it. Great video though, I'm enjoying these ST ones!

Although I would agree with Ascensionism next normally, that would be great for the recorded songs. With a live, it would have to be The Offering in my opinion. This "character" is killing him. He obviously has strong spiritual inclinations. Read 2 Peter 2 in the bible. Vessell is scared to death and in pain. Praying for him. He bit off more than he can chew and now the money, fans, and fame have him in a chokehold. When you feel like the holy spirit has left you....shere terror. This is not about a human relationship. This is a spiritual journey.
