Great catch there guys!!! I need to go there next time, my normal hit spots are at Rollover Pass, but very slow there lately! Thanks for sharing and encouragement! Well done!!!
@Bayouwaterfishing9 жыл бұрын
Hey brother, first off all thanks for watching. and a couple of friends go down to roll over and had luck as well . I guess it just depends on the tides and water clarity because they've had slow days too. swp is a good spot but on the month of November it's crazy packed.

awesome video mann. what type and size jighead do you use. and do you recommend using one of those floating bait baskets over stringers?
@Bayouwaterfishing8 жыл бұрын
Nhan Nguyen hey brother thanks for watching I prefer the floating it simply because we can put the flounder in there without causing harm and at the end of our trip we can kind of sort through them to see what are the biggest ones. as far as jig heads go I always use a heavier one at the bottom and just a slight lighter one on top. I even use bass jig heads and work as well too
@herrodair28708 жыл бұрын
Cesar Reyes thanks for the advice mann
@herrodair28708 жыл бұрын
Cesar Reyes another question brother, your just tying both jighead to the main line ?
@Bayouwaterfishing8 жыл бұрын
Nhan Nguyen you can do it that way or you can tie 2 different lines when you use a swivel

First off, nice video. Looks like you and your buddies having a blast. Was wondering why you are in the water and not on shore?
@Bayouwaterfishing10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the compliment bro. Yeah man,everytime me and the guys go out we have Blast. We get in the water is because we're wade fishing. We go out and search for the flounder instead of just standing on shore and waiting for them to bite. It takes some time to figure them out and to figure how to set the hook. But when you find them and figure what they're striking, its dealing awesome. My number is in the links if you come down to Houston,tx we'll go one day. Thanks for watching
@eyedealzz10 жыл бұрын
Cesar Reyes Ok gotcha, so you can walk around and not be restricted to where the shoreline takes you. When I was watching your video, I was like "dude the shore right in the back, why not just stand there lol." I know its the off-season but once it warms back up keep posting more videos. Tight Lines!

We haven't been out since November brother but I can't wait to go out again. Hey you say it's good on the pier? I never had to much luck on the pier other than sand trout and the occasional speck

I just found out today that they are now going to closed down RP, but when? No one knows yet. Seems like I will have to do some fishing there at SWP. I'm also a wider so I look forward to doing some of that too there. What's the fishing like there during the months of January and February for flounder? And are there any camping places there?
@Bayouwaterfishing9 жыл бұрын
+Hector Coria I've never camped out anywhere in Galveston bay so i'm no help there. I've seen people still catching out in and around pelican island and around clear lake too. I would fish any out or in coming canals to and from the bay.

Ni ce fishing guys, i know that was a fun day. Questión, what type of reel were you using. Spinning reel.
@Bayouwaterfishing9 жыл бұрын
carlostheanimal75 I was using a bass pro spinning reel because I didn't have a saltwater reel and my buddy was using his Abu black max which still works perfectly after a good cleaning to get that salt off.

There's signs all along the road that says no parking or fishing...did you guys get in trouble?
@Bayouwaterfishing9 жыл бұрын
@Jason Y 1 we went faded has signs that say no parking but we part where parking is permitted which what's before and after those signs and trust me it was a good walk to get to the water from where you are allowed to park. as far as those fishing signs I didn't see any unless they have some posted now but that doesn't mean you can't fish in open water that means you can't park on the edge and fish off of the street

Hey I have fished seawolf park during this summer on the pier side but know i have gotten into wade fishing...do you have to pay park fee to fish where yall where at???
@Bayouwaterfishing9 жыл бұрын
Not if you park before entering the park. Just be cautious of the no parking signs to avoid a fine or being towed.
@Joshuakrugly9 жыл бұрын
Awesome see you out there this fall, its just a good spot... I might try east bay by frozen and Smith point just to see what's out there...how does that floating net/tackel rig work...thinking of getting on for my birthday. Great video and thanks for sharing

@Bayouwaterfishing9 жыл бұрын
@David Acosta We've had a lot of luck during the flounder run but the tricky part is finding a spot that all if Texas doesn't go to.

Do you measure yours with the mouth open?
@Bayouwaterfishing10 жыл бұрын
Some were measured with mouth open but were all re measured at the end. All were kept alive in a floating net.
@jessicafishes10 жыл бұрын
Cesar Reyes I wasn't sure which one was the correct way to do it. I know they have to be 14", but I didn't know whether it was mouth open or closed.
