Sebo have been making the Felix for nearly 15 years with only a minor update in 2017. You'd have to go a long way to find a more durable brand of vacuums. The filter bags Sebo (and Numatic, Miele etc) use these days are so much more effective at doing their job but its a reason why the vacuums last so long. The fine dust won't reach the motor anything like they do with bagless vacuums with poor filtration like the sharks, and that may be intentional, who knows. You'll end up having this sebo decades if you service and look after it properly!

On my channel I've also put a Shark through its paces, along with this SEBO Felix. Both have had the equivalent of 5yrs use. The SEBO had faired much better 👍 Thanks for watching and commenting 😁

If you had to pick one. Felix or X7 for a medium sized carpeted home with 2 toddlers, a French Bulldog and 2 set of stairs?

Love my Sebo Felix vacuum for sure. Please don’t forget to replace the outer cloth filter because the thing collects a lot of carbon dust. The down side of the vacuum is the weight and the amount of heat it puts out while running. This is my favorite vacuum of all of the vacuums I have.

I’ve had a sebo X1 & and upgraded to a sebo Felix (blue & white) love love my sebo Felix, great a running around the flat, however love my Miele Cat & dog for when I need to clean the car, curtains etc.... or get into small corners. Can’t go wrong with sebo, great especially if you have pet fur... could hoover all day with my sebo Felix, I would love a sebo Rosso, however can’t justify another upgrade just on colour lol

You could just buy the Rosso filter 🤪😂

Sebo’s and Miele’a have to best sealed systems out there. Most vacuums have you wasting your time because of all the dust particles that escape into the air, but this doesn’t happen with the German engineered vacuums.

Did you leave the brush roll on while cleaning hard floors? Didn't that fling debris everywhere?
@MoreThanJustaCleaner4 жыл бұрын
It can have a tendency to do that, yes. I find the best setting on hard floors is brush roll off, head height level 2. I adjust the head height to 1 when the suction has dropped due to the bag getting quite full. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍😁

Just wondering where you bought your unbranded sebo bags from?

I can't recall which but it was either Amazon or eBay...
@peterr115 жыл бұрын
I bought a used Sebo in September off eBay, fantastic vacuum, would recommend 100%. Agree about the switch, that and the handle don't feel like the same quality as the rest of the machine but time will tell if any issues occur.

That head says KOMBI on it but I think they have a head that says Parque which I believe is even better than that head design wise . I think I’ve seen it used with canister vacs

Did you buy the extension tube from Sebo or is it unbranded? Your videos are really helpful, thanks so much for presenting them in such a informative and accessible way. My Shark has just died and I'm tempted to buy the Felix as its replacement. Its weight concerns me a bit, but when I see it glide around nooks and crannies it really wins me over!
@MoreThanJustaCleaner3 жыл бұрын
The extension was unbranded. As far as the weight is concerned it's a bit of a trade off. The flimsiness of other brands Vs the robustness of a SEBO. I was chatting with some vac repair dudes the other day and they were extolling the virtues of SEBO for longevity and reliability. It's not heavy heavy... Just a little heavier. Thanks for your feedback about my videos and I'm glad you find them useful 😁👍

I’ve found that if you buy a second wand and stand it in the corner of a kitchen with the parquet tool on the end before starting the room, when you get to the table and chairs you can attach them to the hose day to day and more the chairs just inches instead of moving them every day.

Do you not worry about other people's bacteria being spread in your home using the same vacuum? haha
@MoreThanJustaCleaner5 жыл бұрын
No, there's nothing to worry about. Apart from the fact that the vacuum lives in my van and is only brought into the house on occasion, bacteria need certain conditions to thrive... Those conditions are not met in the dry dusty environment of a vacuum canister or bag. It's a good question though - thanks for commenting 👍😁
