This movie was such a perfect end to the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy and gives every character a satisfying arc that still holds the door open to new characters and new stories to tell. Speaking of that final line, I love you guys from Groot. If you pay attention, all the Guardians gradually begin to understand Groot after time with him, so at the end he as usual said I am Groot, but now we understand him, because we've been together for a long time, too. and that's why we heard I love you guys. The main opinion is that the understanding of Groot comes from the heart and you need to be with him for a long time and you begin to understand what he says, although it was said that there is his language, but it was decided to forget about it. Here in this movie a lot of hints were that understanding comes from the soul, the heart.

In the comics, the High Evolutionary is a human named Herbert Wyndham, a geneticist from Oxford in the 1930s, who become obsessed with creating the perfect life forms out of animals. He did much of his work on Mount Wungadore, and he is the one who create Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (imbued by Chthon too) through his genetic science. He moved his research to space when heroes kept trying to stop him, to Counter Earth. Don’t know if it’s the same backstory in this movie. Also according to a canon deleted scene, he is still alive.

Before anything else Seb, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will hit digital on Tuesday, August 8. Lylla was portrayed by Linda Cardellini. She previously portrayed Hawkeye’s wife Laura. Nebula’s arm cannon reminds me of the upgraded Sentinels from X-Men: Days of Future Past. Ura was portrayed by Daniela Melchior. She was also Cleo Cazo/Ratcatcher in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad. Nathan Fillion was also Cory Pitzner/The Detachable Kid in that same film. (By the way, my favorite moment in that movie was when Bloodsport [Idris Elba] yelled “It’s your mom!!!”) At least Peter admitted to screwing up in Infinity War. My favorite funny moment was Mantis’ powers in Orgocorp. Chukwudi Iwuji has said in several interviews that he doesn’t want us to empathize with the High Evolutionary. He genuinely wants us to hate him. I certainly do. It’s interesting because this is the first villain in a long time that we don’t have to empathize with. In the recent years, that has become the norm throughout most superhero films we’ve seen. My favorite fight scenes were Star-Lord and Groot gunslinging and then of course the Guardians fighting together one last time with No Sleep Till Brooklyn playing in the background. I also loved seeing Yondu again even if it was only for a brief moment. I didn’t expect Michael Rooker to return painted blue for only a few seconds of footage, and I also love hearing a good callback to Volume 2. Following the release of this movie, James Gunn confirmed that the High Evolutionary is still alive. They took him into custody on Knowhere. It’s all in a deleted scene. Gamora understandably wasn’t at her best in this film. I liked her the most in Volume 2 because she developed a motherly instinct towards Groot and reconciled with Nebula. At least Peter got to properly say goodbye to Gamora and gain some sense of closure. For me, Groot and Nebula were the highlights of this film. I never thought Nebula would have so much emotion, but I feel like in part it’s because she hung out a lot with Rocket during the blip since he was the only other active Guardian to survive. She even called him a friend right before entering the Orgoscope. As for Groot, he’s become much more reliable. He really surprised me with the ammo and the wings. It’s so cool that he could fly now, or at least glide. He also made me almost cry when he saw Peter freezing to death. The dude really is the heart of the squad. (And after watching your reactions to the Fast & Furious films, when I see Groot say “I love you guys” I just remember how you say FAMILY.) Drax also got some development. He only ever danced because that’s how he met his wife. After he lost her and their daughter, he refused to dance again. Now that he’s found fatherhood again, he can wave his hands in the air and not care about embarrassment. And finally, Come And Get Your Love by Redbone helps bring the Guardians’ journey full circle. Regarding the future of the Guardians, even though the whole team survived which is good news, the sad news is that this movie is still the last time we’ll see some of them. Dave Bautista said that he would like to move on to do some more dramatic roles. I also understand that having to sit still during makeup can be a hassle. Zoe Saldaña has also said this would be her last time portraying Gamora but would like to see her portrayed by someone else in the future. Personally I don’t see anyone else fit for the role. If we’re fortunate, maybe we’ll see her again for The Kang Dynasty and/or Secret Wars. Either way, Zoe is grateful for all the positive feedback on her portrayal especially from the female fan base. Karen Gillan did express interest in portraying Nebula again. I would personally hope so, because we’ve seen an immense amount of character development from her - especially with Volume 2, Endgame, and this film.

This movie is definitely in my top 5 favorite (Marvel) movies, I absolutely loved it! I honestly think it had me crying more than Endgame - Pretty much every flashback of Rocket had me in tears! Rocket's "death", as well as Peter's "death", and him reuniting with his grandpa at the end (Oh, and Groot's "I love you guys")! Did you watch the GOTG Holliday Special? Believe it or not it's actually got canon content. The whole Quill and Mantis being siblings came from there.

Just watched this myself and then right after watching your reaction it's interesting to see details and things I missed and they make sense now. Like Rocket testing his boots at the beginning.

The actor that plays the guard you thought looked familiar was in the TV show Fireflies. His name is Nathan Fillion.

Normally fake deaths in movies annoy the hell out of me too, but I think this is one of those rare cases where they actually work. Everyone knows this is the final Guardians movie with the OG group and James Gunn in the director’s chair. The trailers made it seem like no one was safe, so we’re expecting someone to die the whole movie. No one biting it is a great way of subverting expectations in a good way. To me, it shows how much James Gunn truly cares about these characters.

I almost cried watching this. If I wasn't watching it with people I would have balled my eyes out. I almost cried so many times and it takes a lot for a movie or TV show to make me cry. P.S i cried watching the video

I know you want to save movies for the channel instead of watching them in cinemas, but I think you should watch them in cinemas if you want to. Oppenheimer and Spider-verse especially, they are designed for the big screen and they'll give you the best experience. You can still make a video on them at a later date it just won't be "first time watching"

James Gunn definitely likes his actors enough to bring them along for any project he's working on. Establishing all of his friends in both the MCU and the DCU

I feel like Marvel movies can’t win nowadays. They’re either “too serious” or “too goofy” to people. The truth is that every movie is going to have a different tone, and that is determined by the director and the direction the writers take with the storylines and the characters. I think James Gunn did a very good job balancing the more disturbing moments with some humor in between. And it really gave us insight into just how terrible the villain was and was a great way to tell Rocket’s backstory. Sometimes you have to use brutality to get the point across, no matter how hard it may be to watch.

Yeah you were definitely right here at 2:34, with this Gamora not being the present day Gamora we all knew of, this Gamora came straight out of 2014, this is the Gamora who didn't get to met her timeline's Peter and the rest of the gang because of that whole time heist made by the Avengers. Its not that she doesn't remember who Peter or the gang are like Nebule said, she knows that this Gamora is from before the formation of The GOTG just before the first movie's events. Couldn't understand why Peter didn't get that through his thick skull of his. Him literally trying to make her remember memories of the original Gamora thats not her annoyed me alot like dude, leave her alone shes been alot already and you can't make her remember a past that she never had in the first place.

10:00 "Yeah, this isn't the right universe to bring in TNMT" Maybe it is. There is a (just for fun) fan theory that the kid who originally brought the turtles was Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) and the accident that took away his eyesight, was the same one that mutated the TMNT. Now given that Gunn has said the High Evolutionary visited Earth in the 80s, maybe he developed some of his initial mutagen tech on Earth and some of it was on a truck that crashed into Matt Murdock and the Ninja Turtles...
