This size addition is exactly what i want to build myself, only 1 story. Whats the ballpark on materials because i am convinced i can do all of this myself as well?

If the upper story will have a cathedral ceiling, the gable end walls on the 2nd floor are not framed correctly. They should be framed with full height studs from the bottom plate to an angled top plate attached to the underside of roof framing. While the wall segments do not bear any vertical loads from above, as exterior walls they still need to resist lateral wind load perpendicular to their face. So the studs have the job of carrying that wind load up and down to the roof and floor diaphragms. The framing arrangement shown creates a hinge point where the triangle wall sits on top of the rectangular wall.

Couldn’t you had just did one big header across for those 3 windows kinda like you would a sliding door. instead of 3 individual headers for each window

Yes, you could if that's what you want to do.

@@BreakFreeHomestead got ya, thanks for the reply! Idk why but when I saw the window headers it immediately made me think you could one day support a sliding door here with one header! Everything looks great Though 👍 The Only Thing I Would Have done Differently is Try To Keep The interior Ceiling Hight On the second floor to help make it feel more open . I’m looking to add an addition to my grandmothers house I’m in the process of buying. Im a drywall contractor/ interior Framer. Would you mind sharing how much material was for a project like this?

Hard to tell a framer that tool ( trim router was designed for that so no it’s not bad you are using it wrong ! Buy a 1/2” collet router , 2 1/4 hp minimum , corded , use a whitside up cut pattern bit ! And problemed solved ! Or continue wasting money on routers and bits ! And yes I am a carpenter ( finish) , actually a contractor.
