@@sheristewart3940 I am not sure if it is all about deceiving ourselves. Have you ever ate a snack while watching tv or computer and it is gone without realizing you have ate it all. We have to commit to stopping everything else when we are eating and eating with our full attention on that task. Honestly, we just have to not get the bag in the first place. We must discipline ourselves to rigidly adhere to only consume our food at meals without doing any other activity. I myself will find this difficult, because I love munching on crackers, whole wheat crackers that contain no sugar, while watching a video. I'm going to diligently give my utmost earnest ability to stop eating anything while watching videos. Thanks again Gwen, you're right, absolutely.

PCOS or not.... we still can lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. I am proof.
@robertwillis23143 жыл бұрын
If anyone is struggling with PCOS then I would point you to a professor Ben Bikman on KZbin. He explains how PCOS is related to hormonal changes caused by our modern diet. Shortened version in my own words is this. Eat refined carbohydrate more than a couple of times a day you will likely become insulin resistant. This raises the amount of insulin hormone in your body. Raised insulin inhibits the action of aromatase in the follicle which converts testosterone into eostrogen thus preventing ovulation and potential eggs then become cysts instead of being released. Unfortunately for the last 50 years we have all followed the high carb diet we are told is healthy. People with PCOS would be better off eating in a way that lowers insulin levels eg lower carb, moderate protein and higher healthy fats. This will help most people with PCOS and lots of other metabolic/hormonal diseases.

Ronnie did not get to be the size she is by eating seeds and coconut. She eats fattening meals she’s just in denial
@r.p.4432 Жыл бұрын
Yep. I have a feeling she was hiding snacks in the bathroom, and at work bathroom and eating them. I know/been around women around Ronnie’s size. They are always snacking, drink tons of sugary junk, eat high fat meals, and don’t exercise. Also, they drink so much. Ronnie is tall, she has some ease in losing weight based on that. She is in so much denial she’s only hurting herself and her chances of having children. Girl needs therapy.

I am so sick of people using PCOS as an excuse for why they’re fat. I have it and have lost weight by being brutally honest about what I eat. I see so many women claiming PCOS is the reason then they eat pancakes with double the syrup and a whole large sundae for breakfast followed by more fast food lunch. PCOS is not the reason you’re fat and not the reason you can’t lose weight

For any of you trying to lose weight, try oatmeal. For 1/2 cup oats, it is about 150 calories. It may seem like a lot of calories for a small amount. But, if you add water and warm it up, the oatmeal will expand and take up more room in your stomach so you feel fuller. You can add cinnamon, cocoa powder, and even stevia to make it taste better. The cocoa powder and cinnamon are also high in antioxidants.

@@danomo675 I’ve heard we in America tend to add more sauce than you guys. Bigger portions too. I imagine the UK might be guilty of the same. That’s why pasta is seen as less healthy. Though it’s also possible the noodles in my country have a ton of garbage in them too. I’ll work under the understanding it’s mostly a human tendency to add too much sauce and too many portions to be safe. I’ve heard there’s a similar situation with rice too. We eat bigger portions than people in countries who eat rice nearly every meal.

People on this show are in such deep denial. To gain multiple stone you have to be eating like 3000 calories or more every day. Bear in mind that I’m quite tall (5’8) but I went from 10 st 10 lbs/11 stone to MY HEAVIEST WEIGHT EVER of 15 stone 3 and I was eating around 4000 calories in takeaways an alcohol over lockdown. I’ve now lost a stone in a month and looking to lose 2.5 stone more by August. You have to sacrifice your comfort food and be honest with yourself about what you eat. Truly. No one can do it for you. The sooner you start and eat healthily , the easier it becomes.
