What makes this so infuriating is that Earth's Mightiest Heroes adapted the Secret Invasion plotline a thousand times better and in a way that kept you on the edge of your seat by having you not know even which of the Avengers you could trust, as they could easily be Skrulls in disguise. That show came out 13 years ago as of me writting this comment and its still one of the best Marvel shows out there, right alongside Spectacular Spiderman. If you're a Marvel fan and are tired of the MCU going down the shitter, do yourself a favor and watch those instead.

Ah. What a hot garbage of a show. The writers either must be paid more, or the woke ones just need to go, or even both. The Winter Soldier and Civil War had better conspiracy-thriller spin in a super hero movie, it has its chinks, but it really worked well In Civil War, Zemo was the better villian pulling old strings from Hydra and invoking the Avengers to fall apart through secrets and conspiracy. Here, They could have set a deeper invesment of the Skrulls to why they now want to invade and pretty much take over the Earth - but this show has executed it really poorly and half-heartedly. The plot in this current timeline is also underwhelming because the snap happened, greater villians and the multiverse now exist, so the writers must come up with something that can influence and create an impact in the universe they are set in, otherwise we get this- a poorly paced show, abandonment of logic, and a cheap conspiracy thriller that underwelms the MCU as a whole. That said, to me, the MCU ended at Endgame. Everything else that happened after - was a fever dream mess.

There is one major hole on this plot. On the center of it. Makes no sense. First, radiation was never the fear on the cold war, fades with time, Hiroshima and Nagasaki are full of life for decades now. Radiation bombs would be the Neutron Bomb, which no one would use. People feared something far worse: The Nuclear Winter. Many bombs exploding would make something like the event that destroyed the dinosaurs. Blocking the sun and reducing the capability to grow food in 70%. Unless Skrulls doesn't eat, they would not survive as well.
