I've come across a couple of your videos now where you have said you didn't want to share the content either due to a mistake or your frustration, and honestly my first thoughts when I started watching these, was that it's so awesome that you guys just create and you show the messy parts, then sometimes use them to create something new. You learn. We learn. It's real, and I'd rather watch real then people just putting on a show or trying to be something they're not. You're a consistent personality, same with your wife. Don't ever change, don't stop giving us real content. I'll likely never do this kind of stuff but if I did, I would rather learn from you guys then some boring instructional video. Keep it up.

I think I have an idea that would look good. take a stick and break it in two. join them in the mold leaving the frayed ends with a 4-6 " space for epoxy like you did here, but in the center have a small colorful parrot feather suspended. I think it would look good either with the epoxy area angular, unevenly cylindrical, or even ovoid (to magnify the suspended 'magical' item). other inserted items could be 3-6 horse hairs from a violin bow that you dye 3 colors then braid together and seal with a light coat of lacquer to prevent stain medium from leeching into the epoxy. Or you could get the smallest size glitter, gold or silver powder, and carefully put a fine line on top when the epoxy is halfway covering the stick. or dip a needle in a pigment to draw lines from each break, done in multiple colors. The end result would be a wand that looks like it had fractured at the center of its magical item. you could even turn a handle to insert the wand into that you can adorn with vines or jewels, etc. I'd love to see a video incorporating one of these ideas or pointed in the right direction of its been done.
