The touchdown after the butt fumble, I would argue is much worse for just how the Patriots scored just as quickly after the last one. Plus the way the ball floated out of Joe McKnight's hands and into the arms of Julian Edelman was pretty much the football gods' way of giving the Jets the middle finger.

two things disqualify that game from "Worst ever". 1- It was part of Detroit's legendary and historic 0-16 season, meaning every game was gold. 2- There was no buttfumble in that game.

So not only did this game feature what is STILL technically the Worst of the Worst play in sports (the Not Top 10 retired it after a whopping 40 weeks), it was also a Scorigami. Usually that's a good thing, but the trend is that when a Scorigami features the AFC East, it's a blowout and probably a very stupid game. We had two such Scorigamis this week, in fact (2017 Week 11) - Patriots over the Raiders 33-8 in Mexico, and Chargers over the Bills 54-24 (Bills had 6 turnovers including 5 picks in the first half).

That Jim Schwartz Challenge That Couldn't Be Challenged is one of the most infuriating and befuddling decisions on Thanksgiving of all time, and that's including department stores deciding to open on Thursday at 5 PM. Also, it's impressive that this game was worse than the Peyton Manning Annihilation of the Lions. Or Tom Brady's. Or the Joey Harrington Grudge Match. There was a Thanksgiving game in 2008 when the Lions, on their way to 0-16, lost to the Titans 47-10. Titans looked good though, but the Lions were hopeless. I think that's bad because the Lions are...counted on come Thanksgiving(? Yeah, I know, what am I thinking?). But usually the Lions are presentable in that game (they were lambasted 41-9 against the colts in 2004, which I think comes close to what the 2008 game looked like).
