How do I search for a specific folder in Outlook? My email has a lot of folders (a folder within a folder within a folder). I can't find the option to search for a folder name. The only thing I was able to find was a certain email and the search window shows which folder it is in but the exact path of the folder is not listed

You missed the key point that search folders are basically just search results or search views. They do not take out any email from Inbox automatically. With subfolders or other mail folders, you can MOVE an email or conversation from inbox to the destination. This way, your inbox size reduces and you get neatly grouped conversations in other folders. You can even skip the inbox and direct new email to its respective subfolder.

Thanks for your comment. I was showing this from a different angle. I'm sorry I missed saying that Search folders are saved search results - thanks for stressing this point. There are many ways to approach email management and ths is just another option for everyone to consider :).
