Thank you for your help. Because you gave me so much information on my civil rights , my ADA rights and Hud rules vs. City housing authority procsure. Has helped me be able to sue the housing authority for their fraudulent policies that went against State and federal laws that can be over turned... The Judge questioned their behavior and took my case and I'm now in the process of finishing my sute...Thank you for you help.

here in Jersey is worst too. I keep getting the door slam shut in my face everytime I try to apply, even one housing authority told me we only cater to women with children, that's understandable but I was like dang what about SSDI recipients.

You have a receipt if you paid with a money order, check or bank account- They use this tactic to pretend to misapply payment or lose payment and since they think you don’t have a record they embezzle the money especially if it’s cash ! Never pay with cash your cc is a good idea too even if it’s prepaid it’s in the history

So far, Orange County Housing Authority in Southern California has been fantastic. It's run professionally and I've been treated with respect by most of my case workers, minus one, who tried treating me like I was beneath her. She is no longer employed there. I hope OCHA stays safe and doesn't go corrupt. I deeply appreciate the help I receive. Also, thanks for clarifying the difference between Housing Authority and HUD. I thought they were the same.

I am in Louisiana. I think I may have put myself in a position of retaliation. I reported my work orders that have not been completed. Now my apartment has been abated and I think I may be about to be homeless.

Hey Jay, I wish they can investigate every housing authority. Specially in joliet Illinois! Everyone there suck. All the caseworkers seem suspicious. Except 1-3 of them. Dupage/Kendall county in Illinois as well!

You touched on some good points. I own a home and someone stole my identity and placed a family on section 8 in my home. I contacted the housing authority and they acted as if they didn't care. On top of that, the monthly payments were sent to someone else. I never received a dime. The social worker asked me to provide my bank account so they could make sure I received the funds. They missed the point. I don't know the family that moved in and I didn't know I was landlord! Asking for my account to redirect the funds... But what about the payments that went to an unauthorized party? I feel that I should be compensated. I Went to court and was finally able to get the occupants out. Now just trying to figure out the best way to report this without contacting the local housing authority office directly as I have reason to believe persons in their office were involved and benefiting from this. The person who stole my identity needs to do time. Smh. ***The home was empty... It was to be renovated and sold.

Oh , how I wish I'd hired you last year but...haha..I wasn't sure your service wasn't a scam for desperate people like me ( widowed, disabled, low, low income but intelligent , honest hard worker ) Wow! None of that matters. Having tried to accept any housing help I could get. I now know I'm not crazy, your not crazy...HUD IS! I'm gonna hire you as soon as I can to help me and hopefully help others after that. Thank you for The Truth!

The question still remains- who is using my voucher and my information this is part of the issue and these people need to go to jail !!! Immediately I even went to the main office and they were so aggressive and rude almost violent in hiding their wrong doing!

On a fixed income Voucher section 8 payment standard went up rent actually stayed the same but housing authority raised my rent when my income didn’t change

Having problems with hud housing Authority.Harrassment,discrimination.Legal aid wont even help.Every one of them in the nation should be investigation.They make up their own rules and target tenants,not.reporting to the government.Everytime i let my cat outside, get complaints, theyvsay they are allergic to my cat and have threatened with a lease violation.Been here 8years, never had this problem

When you can't even get hud to answer the phone or find a simple application on line, then it's definitely a scam. No one can give any answers. It's very clear that when you fill out that short application...scammers begin to call your phone nonstop trying to sell you a bunch of crap. ..it's as though the information you give them is sold to some scrammer list. This has to change because this is dangerous

I still report to the housing authority in a different town and county to the executive director. She referred me to this landlord who works for a property management company. This city is full of crime. She was going to take my voucher away if I did not choose this city. Why am I not reporting to this citys housing authority? she promised me a place for a furniture voucher, she said that I wasn’t abused anymore and to move on, she hasn’t helped me with fuel assistance or the raft program. I am in serious need still and the lease started in April 2024. I want to go to this housing Authority. They would be able to help me because it’s the city am I right? Why do I report to the town authority in which I lived before and got out of an abusive situation it took me 17 years to get a voucher that lasted 60 days to get a place and I’m not getting much help. I’m broke all the time and I do work part time and I’m on SSI.

The raft I think is doing the same. Giving the money to their friends and families why so many people are homeless. The people need to sign petitions to the federal government that funds that program.

So..to me,, the Fed is to blame..to send a 30 million dollar check to this Housing Authorities..and not have oversight in place to follow the money..if Sally Sue..takes a 100 500. Check to help her with bills they expect her to report it to the Housing..and if anyone gets discovered making a little extr money...they are investigated and in risk of denial...so why are these agencies given all this money..tax payers dollar..and not check what is being done with it?

In 2017 I was given a property with my name on it to sign over, I didn't sign the property over HRA where's that property, We’re in 2023 and I yet to see that Property. I am calling on housing Authority as to what's going on. Withholding struggling Americans assistance because you don't like them shouldn't be happening. I yet to receive rental assistance or the Property they gave me to sign over. People are getting housing in 4 months it's over 7 years now. HRA the Government assistance is not for who the texting individual in high position like. Do your work.

Hey I had a voucher here in Oregon, the voucher was for the amount $1,600 I paid a 30% portion of my rent , so the remainder of my voucher money where did it go too.?

Thanks, Jay, for another great and funny (to me) video. I reached out to you last year. You gave me good advice about complaining to HUD, which I did. It took over a year but it seems now that I can move to a different housing authority while still remaining at my apartment. The guy from HUD told me that the dirty Housing Authority's lawyers actually tried to recruit him to their side just because he is black!!! He told me this!! So NY is frowned upon, by many Patriots now, for its lefty political and demonic affiliations such as this. Newburgh, NY, that is. The head guy there said to me on the phone (so there's no proof of it) "Well, when you kick a bear, don't be surprised if he bites you" like he's the bear?! Another big shot, ridiculous and arrogant man. Thanks, Jay.

I have kind of an off-topic question that I am really hoping you, or perhaps anyone else here might be able to help answer. So I do currently have a section 8 Faucher for the last few years now. Im up for my yearly recertification. My question is, is there a certain amount of money that you cannot exceed in your bank accounts? For example, one of the documents in my recert package is, to sign that I have under 5k worth of assets in my bank. Which I have more than that. Significantly more. Not because I am hiding monies or trying to scam the system. Just things like tax returns back child support, etc. i’m feeling quite concerned that they’re going to see the amount and assume I don’t need a voucher. Any information would be so greatly appreciated, like you have no idea. 🙏🏽 Thank you. And thank you for your videos. They’re always excellent.

I am homeless because the campaign housing didnt do my port my housing papers in a timely manner and they were working with the property manager of some condemed apts for payments this spt had nine violations by the city of champaign but the Champaign housing wasn't concerned with that they were concerned with me paying Kayla the property manager whom is still adding balances to my accounts

Jay, A family's member has a voucher choice in a hud building in nyc, and he had his apartment inspected Its been 4 months ago The" package" was said is ready and is supposed to be just okayed by the building The rent went up again in dec 100 dollars and he now has only 57.00 dollars left after the rent , because section 8 hasn't been applied yet? How long does a package take, after the inspection was approved?
