South Africa has a complex history. I understand that Indian and other Asians first got to South Africa through oppression and slavery. They lived under colonial oppression and apartheid, suffering alongside Black South Africans. So you can understand that they became brothers in struggle... fighting a common enemy. One can understand why South Africa as Rainbow Nation would foster deeper relations with Indians and Asians. Fortunately other Africans never went through the same level of oppression, so it is assumed that they do no have much in common with the previously oppressed Black South Africa. That is why you would find that they are more open to African Americans because of their similar history. Hopefully one day will heal from its past and learn to embrace their brothers and sisters on the continent😥.

Guy I don't blame other nations rather black Africans because they tend to forget kindness from fellow Africans. South Africans and some other African countries have not been schooled how much they owe Nigeria. Nigerians not only contributed immensely to the liberation of South Africa, they also took part in guerrilla warfare in fighting apartheid rulers in South Africa. ANC leaders were housed in Nigeria, scholarships were given to South Africans, we used to collect contributions in our schools during my time for ANC, where will I stop and that time where were Indians and Chinese except those of them working and doing business in South Africa.
