I'm sitting here in Europe and hope and wish you all a happy voting day and a new president. A president who cares, who don't want to divorce your country and splitt the people further apart. A president who want to work with the other side to hold the country together and let it move further in to the future. To make good decisions about the environment and health care, to make, and repair bonds with other countries and don't close the borders. A president who don't have money interests in other countries and think his money could press other countries to do what he wants, or let other countries do what they want with your country and people by give the president money. I was in Grant Park on election night 2008- when they called Ohio I started up an electric slide to celebrate and about 50 strangers joined in. Then taking the El back home, it was packed with people full of hope and exuberance. People led the whole car through cheers and sing-alongs. This time around I have to assign a friend to call me if things look bad to make sure I'm okay.

Then he has a beautiful family, only to have his wife and daughter torn from them and then having to pick himself up for his two surviving boys, only then to have Bo survive his service only to pass away from brain cancer....😭😭😭😭 I have had relatives die from this and it's horrible!! I'm with you, Kim. My daughter was killed by a drunk driver nine years ago. She was sitting at the bus stop after work and he drove up on the sidewalk and killed her. Who can prepare for that? No one. But one thing we CAN do is elect a man who understands the pain of that. Who doesn't think of himself as so far above others that he can't fathom what we deal with on a daily basis. Uncle Joe knows and I have no doubt that he cares about all of our suffering during this pandemic. My fiancé and my mother died within one week of each other this year. I honestly don't know. A lot of them seem to not be very intelligent, but there's more. its cynicism. They know that government is corrupt, but they don't understand WHY its corrupt, or how to change. Or, better to say, they REFUSE to understand how to change it. You have to clean up government WITH GOVERNMENT. This is what they don't want to accept. So instead, they support a bully semi-dictator who's "not a politician" to "drain the swamp". But it won't work--CONGRESS has to create the laws, and has to empower government agencies (that they all think are the "deep" state) to get the money out of politics and keep corporations from completing ruling over all of us. To these people, what I'm proposing is socialism, so there's no alternative to the "non-politician" who can "drain the swamp". And therefore, if he loses, to them America is over. You can tell 'em about the Progressive, the New Deal, LBJ, but "no"--anyone trying to use government to fight corruption or restrain corporate power is a socialist. The "delusion" is better than the only real alternative!

Even though I am a Canadian, I am equally stressed about your elections. I cried when Hillary lost and seeing Trump destroy basic principles of humanity has been enraging. So I hope Biden destroys him at the ballot and we can have sanity back! You guys do a great job of combining the news, your opinion and also making it personable.

Like most people, I was devastated on election night, 2016. It was the first time in my adult life that I felt real fear for the country, my family, friends and myself. That may sound dramatic but that’s what I felt. I found you all shortly after that and have been following your pod casts ever sense. I got a letter in the mail a couple weeks ago saying there was something wrong with my ballot. I guess I'm going to go vote in person, but I haven't decided which day I am going to go. Either day, I live in a small town so the line won't be long like you see in other parts of my state. Go Biden & McGrath!

I can’t, and don’t want to, imagine four more years of this terrible regime. It’s heartbreaking to see so many people in the U.S. suffering because of Covid - suffering that could be avoided or mitigated with a more compassionate system of governance. I am so thankful to live in a country with a social welfare system that takes care of its citizens. I gladly pay my (more than 40%) income taxes to support this system. It’s not a perfect system, but no system is. I’d also like to point out that this election doesn’t just affect the U.S., but the whole world.

More of the country is in the middle and everyone, I repeat everyone, has had to learn how to compromise in their life. Biden shows us that we can be proud - not that we're perfect Democrats but that ultimately we try to make progress. Plus he doesn't abuse my ears :) EDIT - Whether Biden wins or not it is the job of every Democrat, I take that back - every American, to work to make it easier to vote. Sheesh I shouldn't start commenting before finishing listening to you all.
