Jen at 12:45: "Imagine George Constanza's standup?" The George character is based on head writer Larry David, the curmudgeon buddy of Jerry in real life. Larry started out as a standup who was famous among his standup colleagues for his contempt of the audience. There's one story of him coming onstage, looking the audience over, and just walking off. Jen, for a full dose of Larry David, I hope you'll consider reacting to Curb Your Enthusiasm when you finish Seinfeld.
@Sarah_Gravydog31617 күн бұрын
Larry was telling a joke onstage & said "bungalow," & a woman in the audience yelled to him "What's a bungalow?" & Larry exploded & walked off stage. Gilbert Gottfried used to do standup with Jerry & Larry, & said "It took years for the world to catch up to Larry, he'd either end up homeless or a billionaire." & before Seinfeld, Larry created a show for Gilbert, called "Norman's Corner" & when Seinfeld was being pitched to NBC, one of the execs asked "Who's writing the show?" & they said "Larry David" & the exec said, "Isn't he that guy who wrote that piece of shit for Gilbert Gottfried?" so they were worried that Seinfeld would be awful

When they do a hair transplant for male pattern baldness, the first choice is to take the hair from the back of the head. It's not really the hair that's being transplanted, though, but the hair follicles. If the patient has enough hair follicles on their torso, they can use that, but that's a more delicate procedure since they can't just cut off strips of skin, like they do when they take the follicles from the back of the head.

Despite being a MASSIVE Seinfeld fan myself (and old enough to have watched it when it first aired), I really disliked Kramer in the first couple seasons. In some episodes, he’s borderline annoying, and not in a loveable way. Then again, I’m one of the few Seinfeld fans who love the later seasons over the early ones. Frankly, some of my all time favorite moments are from seasons 7, 8 and 9! Looking forward to when you hit season 4 😊
