@@RedVenom1 it's a Senfield joke. In one of the episodes one of Jerry's girlfriends thinks he suppresses his emotions, so Jerry asks Elaine and George if he gets mad. I think it's George that says he doesn't, his voice just reaches a high comedic pitch.

When I watched Seinfeld back in the 90s, I was wondering whether it was actually customary in the U.S. that everybody could enter each others apartments or houses at any time and as they pleased, freely foraging in their neighbors fridges and plundering their food supplies at will. I later realized that only Kramer did that.

true NY story - while my girlfiend (now my wife of 33 years) was out, I was home with our new puppy. The apartment was on the 5th floor of a 5 story walk-up. Anyway, I had just gotten up and opened the apartment door to get my newspaper ( was in my underwear) and the door closed behind me - locked, and I had no keys. What to do? I walked down a flight of stairs and knocked on the door of the apt directly below mine. The woman - who I had never met - came to to the door and looking a bit shocked, listened to my story and let me in so that I could go out her window and climb the fire escape. Luckily the window was unlocked and so I was able to open the window and crawl inside - but not before I scared the hell out of my puppy, who proceeded to piss all over the floor - never told my girlfiend, but the downstairs neighbor did. My now wife laughed like hell at that moment in our lives together - still does.
