Self-care Or Loneliness: What's Really Going On?

Loneliness is something that people just have to deal with and get through, bcuz that's all there is left to do about it. If you try to get with someone to end your loneliness you will regret it. Bcuz loneliness is something to heal, not try to resolve by having company. Which is why every time we try to have a pal or lover it turns out to be a fluke.

I don’t have any friends, and I don’t have any social media platforms but KZbin. I just want a friend that’s like minded, and a follower of Jesus Christ, no drinking/partying, smoking weed or vapes, dress crazy, addicted to social media. Those types of girlies are hard to find . It do get lonely but I rather feel lonely every now and then, than to be friends with someone who tempts me or brings a certain energy in my life

Im 48 and have no close friends. I still have the people i grew up with in my life but i rarely see them. 99% of the time I'm by myself. I would like that one person i can be close with and build a bond with. But people are closed off and on their "self love" journey and push people away. Shyt crazy.

I do not believe that 73% of gen z say they have no friends. As a gen z, I have friends and all of my friends also have friends. Everyone needs people. No man is an island.

I think the difficulty some gen-z have with friendship started with the pandemic and isolation. Many are yet to fully recover from that.

I think by no friends a lot of people mean no more than 10 friends who they hang out with on a weekly/daily basis. If so I feel that. I don’t have no friends just very few who I don’t see so often.

Because you don't have personalities. I make friends really easy. Not my goal, but everywhere I go, I interact with people. I picked up a lot of friends last year. 8 close friends about 14, I see occasionally. 😊 You have to come out of your own head and leave online, online. I'm not on my phone 24/7, especially when out. I'm talking, laughing, going places, etc.
