I've recently finished the course and can't recommend it highly enough. I have a fantastic imagination but not being a natural illustrator, I always thought producing a children's book would be very difficult (and/or expensive) but your course breaks it all down so simply. I finished the course in one day. I'm just finalising the storyboards now and will be publishing by the end of the week.

That's a good question! Which I don't actually know the answer to, I think you may have to check in powerpoint and see if they allow the use of those images for commercial use. My advice is to use the free images in Canva or get them from Creative Fabrica, or Creative Market, or similar sites as they include commercial use licences. Whatever you do, also remember to combine images so that you create a unique image. Best of luck!

Thank you so much for watching Senika! Every book is different so it can take me from a few days to sometimes a few weeks. It depends how much research I have to do, how long it takes to find suitable images, how long it takes me to write the story... there is no set time scale.

Where do you go to find out about what awards there are in the UK & USA. 32 pages I believe with your 28 you can add a title page or and end page like “the end” or a blank page but the standard is 32 because it used to be easier to print that way

This depends on the age group and niche. The minimum page for kdp is 24. Check out your competition and find out what they are doing, that is the best way to approach this.
