It really makes you wonder what in the world Schlage was thinking when they dreamed these up? Especially when they actually had a pretty good design after many attempts over time. So many odd little changes, I can see sending both holy and non holy plates in the box if they want to save on inventory for passage/locking style knobs, but to only send holy ones seems stupido. Plastic hub, again stupido. Concealed screws, neat, but that thin aluminum is going to be bent all to hades pretty quickly if god forbid you have to take the thing off for whatever reason, even the painter will wreck these trying to get them off.

I hate this stuff, I ordered one when they first came out.. Put it on a display and it is garbage.. I now keep it to show people what not to get. Plus, why on earth did they do a new latch design? at least if it was a standard F latch, when they break you'd have an easier time replacing parts

The cost to value of this product is terrible. they are not much cheaper than emtek. Emtek is way more styles, way more quality than these.
