The next piece of machinery added to the workshop is this XL shredder from the Sustainable Design Studio.
In this video, I get the machine assembled from the partially-built kit form in which it arrived.
Very excited to start using this machine to turn failed prints and other material waste into usable feedstock for extrusion and injection.

i have done the assembling and the green light comes on but the motor only runs for a second then stops.

Are there any viable pellet extruders for the hobbyists these days?

As in ones that fit directly on the machine? Yes and no, I've seen a few floating around, but even the low end ones are all still quite expensive (mid to high hundreds sort of thing). It is something I would like to test one day, but need to build a big machine first!
