It speaks volumes of this man as an instructor . But more importantly as a wonderful human being. By the esteem his students hold him in .

Thank you so much for your kind words and generosity. The clip of the GGM and the boy talking, that piece of carpet was donated by you Master Fariborz. GGM thanks you at the end of the performance.

Thank you Great Grandmaster Ichikawa. I carry the memories of learning from you in my heart always. Your faith in me inspired me to have faith in myself when I needed it. You taught me how to fail upward: to learn from my errors and perform better the next time. From learning how to take a hit to designing and performing my own form (Divine Wind) with confidence, you brought out the best in me then and continue to now. Thank you. Much love and respect, Wil Simpson (Tarzana Karate, #74)

What a wonder video on your father. Love the rich history and you continuing the legacy in his footsteps. I just earned my first degree black belt on January 18th, 2024 after 11 years. Can't wait to compete in the black belt division and judge. #TangSoo

Hopefully there are still masters like you in Tang Soo Do. I did taekwondo for 4 years and was with a great master. I find Tang Soo Do super interesting.

I totally forgot about having to do pushups for saying "yeah." I did my fare share. 😆 I guess I didn't learn my lesson well enough because then about 9 years later I was doing pushups in boot camp for saying "yeah." 🤦🏻 Brings back memories seeing this video.

The second location across the street from the original location in Tarzana on Ventura Blvd, was that the Tang Soo Do dojo that was featured at the beginning of the movie No Retreat No Surrender (1985)?

Thank you sir. Always a pleasure to hear from you. Do you see any similarities to our TSD to yours?
@christopherblade59847 ай бұрын
@@SenseiIchi yes sir I certainly do, it would be great to speak to you about it, as I have studied many arts since childhood and have kinda adjusted my TSD, which on some aspects is similar to ATSD. I just love diversity. 🙏✊🇰🇷🇺🇸
