WOW, amazing Alice's editions! I really want the Macmillan one... you should look for the edition with Rebecca Dautremer illustrations and also the edition with Benjamin Lacombe illustrations, they are both amazing!

I've got an Alice in wonderland edition that's illustrated by Rébecca Dautremer and it has full page illustration, and 2 pages illustrations. It's quite a large book so the illustrations are really detailed. They're slightly creepy in some ways, but they are absolutely gorgeous! And just everything about the book is so gorgeous and I love it so much! You really need this edition if you're looking for one that has different illustrations than the original one.

There are two editions of Alice that I've come across in person that I love. One is illustrated by Peter Weevers which I got from my local library. The other I got at a thrift store and it is Great Illustrated Classics. (The cover illustration is not the same as the inside illustrations but I like them both.) I'm actually not a fan of the Tenniel illustrations although the coloured-in ones intrigue me! My dream is to illustrate an edition one day and have a publishing company publish it.

Oh! And I totally forgot that I also got another one at a thrift store. It's Greg Hildebrandt's Magical Storybook Treasury which features The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Adventures of Pinocchio, and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Lovely oil paintings!

I only have one edition of Alice, the Word Cloud Classics edition and it is so pretty, and the illustrations are also by Tenniel but its so pretty and the inside of the cover is gorgeous

I love Alice too. My favourite edition is the one illustrated by Benjamin Lacombe. It is really gorgeous. The book is in french but as it is the classical story of Alice, the most important are the illustrations :) There is a second book with the following of the story (Alice de l'autre côté du miroir).

Hi Hailey, I am an Alice collector with currently over 75 editions (and still growing) last year for Alice's anniversary a French artist called Bennjamin Lacombe illustrated the book and it is truly breath taking. The edition is in French but I highly recommend it to you. x
