Don't worry, I googled it. She was realesed from prison in 2020. She was charged with smuggling in a saw blade and assisting the 2 dudes escape prison. Her husband was waiting in her when she got out. So sweet 😋

US police do not have jurisdiction in Canada. They would need to be extradited to return. There are certain crimes that Canada will not extradite people for when the death penalty is likely. Even if they get extradited back, the negotiations would take some time AND the negotiation could take the death penalty off the table. Apart from that, they probably thought they could fade into Canada and never be caught.
