I was sort of surprised the bluff worked for Maxpax that first game. He made one void ray and Serral went all in on hydra, didnt push for scouting enough. I guess Maxpax put enough pressure on with the first couple adepts to hide his intentions... which was just more adepts lol

Tbh, I'm just so excited that we have a great protoss hero we can start to see pop off against the best again. It seems to have been a long while since I've witnessed the pleasure. The rebalance probably helps a bit too.

@@jeffreyJames998 Yeah, they have been pretty soft on the Zerg nerfs recently, except for the Baneling which got a pretty significant nerf. Honestly, I just think they shouldn't be able to blow up entire mineral lines. I'm OK with them being effective against army units.

Can you maybe do it like other broadcasters and upload some games multiple times at the end so that we cannot know the outcome based on the video time? If a Bo5 is 48 min long we know its a sweep if not for massive cheese. That woud be really nice and get us in popcorn mood:)

I've seen a few requests for this recently, unforunately it kills your KZbin stats in the algorithm since everyone tunes out for that end part, and then YT pushes the video to less people.

It's really annoying to hear a Zerg main claim Serral wins because of strategy. When the matchup trends towards Zerg winning, even if they play safe. Protoss have to fool zerg with tricks, Serral consistently and predictably plays safe because of this. Zerg players sometimes cut corners because if it pays off it makes it easier for them, they often tell themselves they need this, but Serral is proof zerg doesn't have to to win. It doesn't work the other way. Protosses have played as close to perfectly as humans do and still lost to Serral many times for years.

You know the game is in a bad state when casual gamers like MaxPax can compete with Serral. Absolutly unbalanced. You cant balance a game around win percentage, that creates a super unbalanced game. You cant balance the game so every casual can compete with Serral, but thats exactly what happens right now, meaning Zerg is literally unplayable on equal skill levels.

I always am excited to see if the underdog can cause an upset. Serral's an absolute beast and I'm a massive fan. Just because I'm excited to see if the opponent can cause an upset doesn't mean I dislike Serral

I see. You are in search of the new 2.0 Serral. We do have to appreciate the longevity of Serral, so many years at the top or remarkably close to the top. I absolutely like him since he paved the way for EU players to stand any chance against Koreans and Blizzcon epic finals vs Stats was tipping point. Without him, SC2 would face epic 50% popularity nerf. One thing I like about WinterStarcraft and Lowko, they don't hide that he is the one of the best if not the greatest ever. Just ask yourself a question: If you could pick only one player who would represent team Earth in the interstellar "Milky Way" bo7 tournament against all those alien StarCraft II players out there, who would you honestly choose? I love your casting, but it's obvious you watch the matches ahead of time. I'll be honest that kind of ruins it sometimes. There's something special about feeling like we're all watching it together for the first time. Lowko does it too, which I think has been losing audience. That said I still watch them all. But I'm leaning toward Harstem lately bc it's hilarious to watch him completely botch in-game predictions. At least it's authentic lol.

Zerg needs a serious nerf. If you take 2 players with equal skill. Zerg gives a 25% advantage at least. Kinda getting bored to watch any zerg play.....

The thing is with zergs mechanics is that there is opportunity to click a lot of buttons and perform lots and lots of actions that have very small impact on the game, but they still get the zerg stronger if you are able to do them all. These are things like spreading creep, injecting, moving overlords... stuff that is hard for average players to do, but really good players can keep up with. Basically zerg rewards high apm players that can remember and manage a lot of things. I think that is why Serral can make zerg look so OP when he plays it, but he couldn't make protoss look quite as OP if he played protoss.
