Seth, if you made a chest pullover video, I would be so happy. Your videos on how to go beyond simply using correct form and focusing on what should be going through your head to get maximum muscle contractions during the movements are why I come to this channel.

Hi Seth, great stuff as always. Quick question: What is the advantage of the smaller range of motion you are using on the incline bench with dumb bells? Is it cation because of possible shoulder injury (or am I completely missing something obvious). Thx!!
@SethFeroceOfficial8 жыл бұрын
refoom no injury. My focus is on the outer portion of my chest. The Swoop! So by holding the DBs a little farther to the outside of my chest and then only coming up half way , it puts emphasis on the outside. Little more advanced technique and something you have to do a few times and Feel it and develop. Half reps and partial reps help target specific parts of certain bodyparts. You will see me to that for a number of different exercises , not just chest. 🤘👍
@adamjohn128 жыл бұрын
Wow, that is an excellent answer. You address some of this in your "How-To: Side Lateral Raise", Angles / range of motion. Great advice. Thanks for another great video.
@LukeKennedy158 жыл бұрын
I think part of his reasoning may be so that there is constant tension on the chest. When you lock out, you lose tension for however long you stay at lockout. Either method works, it's all about finding what works for YOU and giving your 100% effort in your training. Happy growing!
@jamesramirez77598 жыл бұрын
refoom
@SubnetMaskedMan8 жыл бұрын
Luke Kennedy That is untrue, if anything there the MOST tension at lockout if you have good mind muscle connection.

Fucking Awesome!!! How long do you rest between sets?
@SethFeroceOfficial8 жыл бұрын
bigmotherfink I usually don't take more than 120 seconds - 2 minutes. But on certain exercises my rear period decreased. For example on the machine press and pec deck rest between sets were no more than 60seconds. Just changing your rest periods and rep range can make your workout that much more intense!! 💪🤘

Hey Seth, on the flat bench portion I noticed you keep your head lifted through the set. I tried it and noticed a better activation of the chest through the lift. Unfortunately, I experienced some neck pain a day later. Is it something you eventually get used to? Btw, thanks for all these vids. Great suggestions that are to the point and really forces me to rethink everything.
@skullflower3548 жыл бұрын
stretch properly if you do it that way. I do the same on bench press.

I try to do a lot of dynamic stretching before any sessions but I'm trying to get accustomed to really stretching out trap/neck area before applying this method consistently.
