In this video, I go over Beerus and his journey to being so strong he's been above Goku for almost 10 years straight in real time. We go over his Ultra Insinct, Ultra Ego, and God of Destruction powers like Hakai and his form, as well as much of his new scaling in the Dragon Ball Super manga and anime that has impressed us even now. Even Black Frieza, current Ultra Instinct Goku, (probably) Gohan Beast, Manga Broly, and Ultra Ego Vegeta can't take him still. Possibly even all together.

Every other super writer has gone with Goku being stronger with Ultra Instinct, but the manga is the only place where Goku can use Ultra Instinct freely. So functionally, Goku is still weaker than Beerus in all Super material. Goku just got a brief taste of the kind of power he will need to defeat Beerus in the anime.

I havent even watched yet, but i know this is gonna slap. In the manga, beerus mentions to vegeta that he's always thinking of destroying things. Vegeta says he can't get into that mindset, which is what makes UE stronger. After hearing that, I do believe that beerus is in fact a moving goal post. Even if he doesnt train, he's should he getting passively stronger.

There is one way to make the old-old-old statement of Goku being a 6 to Beerus's 10 make sense, and that's to turn those numbers from percentages to tier. Sort of like Goku was in tier 6 and Beerus was in tier 10 of power, and the differences between tiers is just insanely, incomparably massive, differences that get even larger between each successive tier. Still, even then, given all the power jumps we've seen, its a stretch.
