I love doing this kind of stuff. I never had the opportunity to spend time with my dad in the shop. He passed away at the age of 27 with Laukemea. I was only 6 years old. My mom,Dad and sister are over in the Hiland Cemetery in North Judson. Please value every memory my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Grew up as a kid in the 70's and 80's farming with a 730 and 830 diesels. Wasn't fast by no means, but both were very efficient on fuel use. Both had been pushed out .090 over and were turned up. Your video brought back memories of going through both of them. Especially when I busted the big bull gear going into the transmission after failing to put stop blocks on the chisel plow.

If you change the flywheel on a 41 JD Model A, from a hand start to electric start, do you need to set the crank shaft end play? I am not changing anything else just the flywheel.

A little late...but the flywheel is how you set the endplay on an A. So you'll need to set the endplay with the new flywheel

Deere used yellow primer. It was not painted yellow.
