In this part, I address the network devices, the clients as well as setting up a couple static routes.

They're not considered the same type of device, but they do transmit and receive on the same pairs of wires hence needing crossovers Hubs and switches can connect to routers with straight-through cables.

Hi Dan, I was wondering how you ping the PC to the router. I know you mention you did it off camera so do you have a video on how your configure NAT pinging the PC to the router?

PCs and Servers use a network card so you can say they are like devices. You can also say the same thing about routers. think of the Ethernet connections on a router as a network card on you PC. that being said PC, Server, and the Ethernet interface of a router are considered like devices. I hope this helped some what.

Can you please clarity the crossover cable from router to server. I know that different devices require a straight through cable, so is a router and server considered the same type of device? I would of thought a server is like a PC. A link between PC and router would be straight through not crossover. Please advise?

Can you make it show the interfaces at all times without having to hover over the dot? If so, how can you make it like that?

Between the two routers you wasted a ton of precious IP addresses with that gigantic mask. Otherwise excellent as always.
