Yes!!! Many thanks for your video Seun! I’m wearing my first sew in weave which, five days later, my scalp is now much more relaxed - as is my mind...😂 I moisturised my scalp with just an oil mix a few days later but the weave got weighed down which I didn't like so had to wash it out cos I can't stand oily hair unless it's in a pony tail. I then realised I can wash the weave only in the sink and not my relaxed hair underneath which is.a bonus what with less drying time! Thanks for the tips about moisturising our own hair and the frequency cos I was worried about not being able to moisturise my ends! Fingers crossed they'll be ok in the cornrows. Think I'll only keep the weave in for about 5-6 weeks anyway....x
@shaumia824 жыл бұрын
Spray moisturizers work pretty well when you have a sew in. For me its a bit harder using oil when I have a sew you can't really see what your doing, and that oil comes out quick before you know your hair is soak with oil. I use S Curl no drip and spray between the cornrows and kinda massage it in. My hair is soft when I take it out.

Brilliant video! 🤗 I think it's much easier to shampoo-wash one's hair when it's in single plaits as opposed to, say, canerows, etc. It is VITALLY important to ensure every last piece of shampoo and non-leave-in conditioner, etc, is rinsed out, otherwise scalp issues might develop. I prefer to use very warm plain water and a flannel to gently but firmly remove any build-up from my hair and scalp. Whilst my hair is still slightly damp I then apply leave-in products to both hair and the extensions. I, personally, would keep the entire length of my own hair lightly moisturised and oiled, (no creams), during the duration of the style.
