Water, Oil (Natural Shine Butters), As I Am Butter cream (Leave In), and a silk bonnet Thats It. Protective styles help but it takes me forever to do em. Oh, and hot oil treatments. My hair has been moisturized for a couple days now I didn't have to do anything to my hair

Do you feel the bigger braids cause less tension. I noticed other folks use smaller braids but their hair isn't as long either. Just wondering because I want to come up with a routine that is consistent and I admire all of your teachings Thank you.

I do the same technique, it’s truly amazing lol but I still use human hair to crochet. However this time I decided to leave the TINIEST THINNEST slivering of my hair out at the parting, because as crochet grows out it just becomes more obvious.

Omg I love this idea!! I'm definitely going to try this after I take my braids out in July !! I'm probably going to opt out of the sew in bc I never tried sew ins before, however the kinky texture crochect is what I would love to try! I'm on a 6 month no heat journey so I cannot wait for my results in Sept🥳

Excuse me, how do you take care of a sew-in?? One of my biggest concerns is what happens when you want to wash it. Also, how long do you keep your sew-ins?? Do you have a beginner friendly guide on maintaining it. Im strating out soon and I jusf want a basic maintaining regiment.

I have a question!🙋🏾♀️ How do you get these styles to last with such loose braids/twist?! And how do you take the hair out without accidentally cutting your your hair especially with such loose braids/twist?? I tend to use the texture of the tighter braid to be able to tell the difference between my hair and the attached hair when i want to snip the thread or the crochet knot. I’d love to be able to learn how to not have to braid tightly but still feel like the hair is properly attached

While I'm not a sew in girl , I prefer the sew-in look with crochet in full, it allows me to keep my scalp clean without having to redo it. I look forward to seeing you do more straight hair crochet hairstyles and showing us the braid pattern too! Also your eyebrows look really full and natural here 😇

Hey Seun, You ate this up! Great job!! 😍🙌🏾 I’ve seen several BW on KZbin use this method with clips in & crochet hair at the top… or crochet hair over all including the “leave out” section. But I’ve never seen it done with a sew in. This is a gem!! 👏🏾 I’ve tried the other two methods & I can’t wait to try yours. Thank you for such an in-depth video 💛 I also wanted to add… have you ever used a curve needle when sewing your tracks? I personally find curved needles to work even better & get the job done faster ☺️
