coming back to this video to eventually learn (my hair is in flat twists/twists right now), bc i forgot i saved it, and every other cornrowing video i found only confused me more when i tried to follow them (or weren't doing it on theirselves). this one breaks it down way easier than the other ones as well, i feel like i'm understanding it more even tho im just watching.

Disclaimer! The Cuban twist hair is rough and very difficult to comb through. I tried this and the method works great, but that crochet hair is awful to blend with the human hair I used. It’s stiff and I can’t comb through it, and it also sheds/breaks off. Great method though, but I wish I used human hair crochet

I just went relaxed, it was sort of my choice but also forced onto me. I'm mixed but have light skin, green eyes, and type 4 hair. I got bullied hard by girls saying, "You tryna be like us with your rats nest," or "Wanna be a black girl," "Albino," ... The comments they made were so stupid, but I was young when they did it, so it damaged me. ANYWAY, your videos helped me a lot from chopping my relaxed hair, it's almost down to my waist, but watching your wash-day videos helped a lot!
