Quick QnA 1 Is this viable? - no, it took me like 30 min of trying, you need good rng with motes, and it is really hard to stay inside ziggurat. 2 How? - Bug, if you unphase just right (somwhere in ziggurat weapons) you wont generate flux even if phased. 3 Is this vanilla? - No, i will test if it works in vanilla, (I tested it, works perfectly fine)

Interesting that ship position, even unusual one would affect flux generation. That is an unexpected bug.

​@@ukaszgrzesik7231 i think it is something with hitboxes, sometimes when i did that ship was stuck in phase but still took dmg, and sometimes it was ziggurat who didnt generate flux, very weird

Defeating the ziggy boy with a gremlin should automatically deter other factions from trying to steal it from you. Instead of factions trying to take it by force, salvage teams should be throwing themselves at you to scrap it. "Why you still flying that junk around captain?"

I think it's because phasing isn't just diving into a 3rd concrete dimension, but 'phasing' to the *between* of normal space and hyperspace, which means they're going up and down between the 2 dimensions and never stay in a single phase plane. I'm going off of one of the phase ships' description which says that phase ships need to juggle their flux and coil tuning to stay phased, which alludes to the idea that they can barely stay in phase space because it isn't a stable dimension to be in.

First time I beat Ziggy I had 10+ Herons with support doctrine (not sure about the exact number, I just filled all my DP with uncommanded Herons) All of them were decked with broadswords exclusively, it took forever but I didn't get a single point of damage in my herons, the sheer amount of broadsword spam was like 100+ fighters in the screen at all times. You just gave me an idea though, I wonder if I can break AI formations with a single highly flux efficient gremlin while my carrier spam handles the rest

You are doing sth wrong probably, i managed to pull it off in version 0.96a-RC8 again, and i doubt something was changed since then. It is also really unreliable but keep trying it will work at some point.
