My wifes only break is a couple of hours when our little one is at nursery. Seeing Priscilla have a good time with friends made me feel extremely guilty as my wife doesn't have anyone to have this with and i can see how warn down she can get. I don't always agree with what you say but....I've learnt that I need to be a better husband and try and give her as much of a break i can. Thanks

Hi! We just started out autism journey with our son who is 2 and half years old. We are currently trying to get all his services in place (he was diagnosed autistic about 4 weeks ago.) I watch many KZbinrs but have never felt compelled to leave a comment. HOWEVER, I found your videos yesterday and just wanted to say THANK YOU for sharing your amazing family's journey! You do not know how comforting it is to watch such a beautiful family who also lives with autism BUT shows how happiness and love does not have to suffer! You two remind me of my husband and I :) We also have an older child (6 and a half) and I am still new to this journey that I worry about her and not feeling important or "as loved" as her autistic sibling. I, too, grew up with a younger brother who is autistic and know how that can feel if the parents don't find a good balance. Any who, sorry to ramble on! Thank you for showing me that this can be a journey full of love, family, friends, and constant discovery!

1. I had a cat named Priscilla many years ago, so Priscilla is actually probably named after my cat, not the other way around. 2. My current cat is precious. She was just diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, idiopathic chronic cystitis, a heart murmur, and hyperthyroidism. Even after everything that she has been through, she is still just the most trusting, loving, and snuggly pet. Our internal medicine specialist's report even had a notation at the bottom the said, "Jeanne is a very sweet girl and it has been our pleasure caring for her." Not all people are the same and not all animals are, either.

Isaiah, you just got the coolest birthday gift ever!! That mug is awesome. I want one! Happy early Birthday! 🎈I know what you mean about not really becoming an expert in speaking/writing another language even though you took multiple years of classes. I took French for 6 years and didn't learn much more than how to say "hello my name is Cai", some other bits and pieces, and words like library, toilet, some foods, etc. They don't actually teach you how to fully speak and write the language. My best friend's dad was French and he hated how much they were failing at teaching the language! Hope you and the rest of the family have a great day!

I think it's so cool Isaiah is learning Chinese. I started teaching myself Korean about a year and a half ago. I had taken Spanish all through my school career. Like 11 years all together. I know more in Korean than I know in Spanish. I wish schools would teach tons of languages because when you enjoy the language it's easier to learn. Spanish was forced on me so I didn't care to retain it once the test was over. Don't give up Chinese once you graduate, it may come in handy in the future (:

Hey Assa.... That door handle is a dreaded and VERY common issue with GM trucks 88-98! I can't tell you how many times I've fixed those dang door handles on my Chevy trucks.
@fatheringautism7 жыл бұрын
+Nicholas Ervin That’s my third one. It’s getting old. I love how reliable this truck is but it won’t be long before I’m going to need an upgrade.

FatheringAutism I was wondering how you'd put 300k on that truck and it just broke for the first time! I almost knew better, but you sounded like it suprised you, so I couldn't tell if you were aware of it or not. So obviously we've both dealt with that problem many, many times and you're well aware of that GM door handle plague! Those trucks can't be killed mechanically, but the darn door handles are a horrible design on the engineers part. Too much of a bind on them is the conclusion I've come to. I hope when you get a new truck it's a new Chevy or GMC! 😁 As you can probably tell... I'm a GM guy through and through! Chevrolet and Pontiacs are MY Thang! 😉

"Cats are not nice animals" ^turns to look at my cat who spends the entire day either snuggling with me or bringing her toys to me to play^ You were saying? Edit: Generally, those that don't like cats are just people that don't understand their body language. And considering that she has already said that she's a rather "black and white" kind of person in another video I believe, I'm going to assume that she's ignorant towards cats and that this ignorance has prevented positive experiences which has resulted in her saying such a ridiculous statement and I'm going to assume that she actually believes it.

I like cats but if you ever get bit that's what scares me their bite is toxic , I knew somebody who got bit by a cat and end up hospitalized and also one of my loved ones end up hospitalized too because of a cat bite and both of these individuals actually had to stay in the hospital for at least a whole week so ya that's a bit of a bummer about cats if their bite wasnt toxic I would love to have a cat and you just dont know when they will attack I have been attacked before but not so extreme like the two individuals I know , it was my grandparents cat and I was just petting him he was a beautiful cat and I love cats and he's just snuggling with me and purring and then out of the blue he just started attacking me and then the cat opened his mouth and almost bit me but my grandpa grabbed him in the back of his neck right on time and yes he end up tossing him outside I also have seen videos of cats attacking it's scary just out of the blue sometimes cats can be very crazy
@Tintenfischchen7 жыл бұрын
I was going to comment Hashtag 'TeamAsa' because of what Priscilla said about cats, but now I'm just gonna be #TeamAbbie and #TeamIsaiah ;) I used to be a dog person too, thought the same way about cats, but only because I didn't know any cats that had really strong and great relationships with their owners. Now I know that cats can be just as awesome as dogs! I used to work at an old people's home and once a week a therapist came in and brought three cats with him. They didn't do much besides purring and laying on the old people's laps, but believe me, even that had such a positive influence on them! The hours after cat therapy were always the most peaceful, happy and quiet ones! :) Now I have two cats (oriental shorthair is the breed - look it up - they look funny with their giant ears and have a great, almost dog-like, character!) and at my brother's group home (he's autistic too) they have one too :)

Yea that just come out if nowhere!! My two Persians are the sweetest girls to walk the earth! Thry are both such cuddle bugs and love to play! I've never really had a mean cat or been around a mean one. Most house cats are only as mean as people make them. I've been bitten a couple of times by a mean as Siamease momma cat, but I asked for it because I was touching her kittens smelling like another female cat, and she did NOT like that! She tore my butt up, but other than that I've never seen a mean cat. I don't know where Priscilla gets that idea... LOL!

LMAO, Is there any way I can email you a video, our Saige and your Abby are so similar...I know they can’t “interact” per-say but I think if they could parallel play one day it would be SO funny to watch(they seriously have identical stims)We live in PA but I’m a travel agent that focuses on planning Disney vacations for families with autism,(we are also hoping to move to St.Augustine eventually-which is why I love your channel it’s helping prepare for what’s available there)We are hoping to spend Christmas down there-do u guys ever go to the theme parks?
